Innovative use of the DS. [Issue#22, p.82]
  2. Master of Illusion is what it aspires to be: a game that teaches you the secrets of magic. Sure, it is not going to teach you how to be Criss Angel that guy is really weird, but it is does teach you the basics.
  3. Even though the game pulls back the curtain on some fundamental elements of performing magic, it’s still fun and even head-scratching at times.
  4. Combining simple magic tricks with the DS is a great idea and young kids will get a real thrill out of performing in front of their friends.

Master of Illusion isn't a video game in the traditional sense and shouldn't be rated as such. That being said, it's fun toMaster of Illusion isn't a video game in the traditional sense and shouldn't be rated as such. That being said, it's fun to bewilder your friends with magic tricks and the tricks are easy to learn too. But the software can't be fully enjoyed without an audience to perform in front of.
here is the bottom line. Master of Illusion is a magic kit for the DS, not a game. It's a great way to entertain your friends but never reveal the secrets behind the illusions.
