    Bowser's Inside Story, to put it quite simply, is an AMAZING game. The plot is great, the concept is great, and the battles are great. And don't forget about Fawful. Fawful and his "I HAVE FURY!" quote are just hilarious. But what I feel is best about Bowser's Inside Story is the ability to play as Bowser! Half of the game is dedicated to his side of the story, and Mario and Luigi canBowser's Inside Story, to put it quite simply, is an AMAZING game. The plot is great, the concept is great, and the battles are great. And don't forget about Fawful. Fawful and his "I HAVE FURY!" quote are just hilarious. But what I feel is best about Bowser's Inside Story is the ability to play as Bowser! Half of the game is dedicated to his side of the story, and Mario and Luigi can help Bowser accomplish his goals from inside his own body! Then...he grows HUGE. That is EPIC.     Easily the best RPG I ever played (go cry, Final Fantasy! Not saying that it isn't good) I ever played, and the only game with a talking bean for an antagonist (alright, Superstar Saga had Fawful, too). This RPG has laugh-out-loud moments, a great story, excellent controls, and one of the best and most beautiful final boss themes ever.

    This is one of the few instances that an RPG can be practically perfect, the other times being Golden Sun and Pokemon. The only things that I dislike about this game is the re-used sprites from the previous entries into the series for Mario and Luigi. Things to like- humour, music, final boss, story (seems more unique than most others), pickups, power ups, and mini games. Overall, 9.7/10

    I saw the reviews of this game and I saw they were excellent. Then I bought the game myself. It says on the back of the case "Most Hilarious Mario RPG" and I was a little nervous. But AlphaDream have handled the humour brilliantly. Although Fawful's gags may take a while to get used to, you'll soon get the gag and tune in. The gameplay is really good and it's so damn addictive. TheI saw the reviews of this game and I saw they were excellent. Then I bought the game myself. Well, except for the levels where you're Mario and Luigi where you have to scatter about the place looking for something and it does take ages. Not only that, the combat should've been better and it does get hard in a bad way. Aside from those flaws, it's still a very great game. Have a DS? Don't have the game? I mean, come on.     Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story is a great game for the DS. The fact that it is an RPG that allows to create Mario, Luigi, and Bowser the way you feel like it makes it amazing.

    This game is what I would regard as "the ultimate Mario RPG". I'd recommend this to any gamer whether he/she played the Mario rpgs before, didn't play them or doesn't even know what a RPG is. It's that good. The villain in this game is Fawful, who may be the most memorable Mario villain ever with his engrish lines such as "A WINNER IS YOU" or "I HAVE CHORTLES!".     A little difficult puzzle-wize at times, and 2 of the giant battles were extremely hard (At least for me.) This game is obviously the best of series, the story is great, funny, but not as amazing at Partners in Time. My favorite part of the game was the return of Fawful! He steals the show in terms of comedy.     Well, this is a PERFECTLY AWESOME game for Nintendo DS system. It was the best Mario & Luigi sequel! Not just that, this game serves a different story where Mario, Luigi, and Bowser save the Mushroom Kingdom and Bowser's Castle from evil. It MUST have and MUST be played!

    A pleasure to play. I loved the mechanics behind combat and items that were put in place in the first title in this series and am glad to see them make a full return in this light-hearted and enjoyable title.

    I played this game on my Nintendo DS, and I loved it: I love the story, the bosses, the attacks, the musics.
    I think that it is the best RPG game that I've ever played.

    Wow. I'm a first-timer to RPG's like this, but... wow. Best DS game of the year? I think so. It's a real shame then that not many people are taking much notice of it and passing it on as shovelware. =(

    Overall, an amazing triumph in the Mario and Luigi series. The game has done an astounding job of keeping the series as fresh as possible without sacrificing quality. However, there are some things I have to harp on. The story is great at times, however I did not find it to be laugh out loud hilarious. As for gameplay, the game achieves perfection. The special attacks in this game are ridiculously awesome to both execute and perform. I personally love the art and graphics in this game and appreciated all the little touches in the character and enemy animation.     I just finished this game a few days ago, and this is such a hilarious game. The first two hours and the final three hours (with some odd stuff in between) are by far the best moments in the game. Luigi just makes incredible amounts of nonsense (for example, he slaps himself to get out of a dizzy state), and his actions alone just ramps it up to ten. In a nutshell, that's pretty much it to the game. Be prepared to get a bit bored. On the other hand, there's the minigames that are spot on on using both screens or normally using just one. Each minigame has simple controls and very fun gameplay. For example, in order to get Bowser alive for a giant boss fight, you need to shoot energy balls that come in two colors. It may seem a bit overused, but it's perfect for the situation.… Expand

    Easily the most intentive Mario RPG since Paper Mario 2. The writing is witty and sharp. The graphics are charming. The combat is fun. The music is memorable and while its not reinventing the Mario & Luigi formula its still great fun.

    Rock solid Mario RPG'ing. The game had a little bit of a been here, done that feeling but that didn't make it any less fun. Hopefully they introduce some new game play elements in the next Mario RPG.

    Mario and Luigi Bowser's Inside story is another Nintendo game done right. The combat system is accessible and fun. The gameplay is varied and the boss fights are great. This is also Nintendo's most humorous game.

    Definitely the best Mario RPG out there, with awesome, challenging gameplay, a good storyline, and one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard in a Mario game. Great humor too.
    Personally, Fawful is one of my favorite video game antagonists~ along with Dimentio from SPM

    Playing as Bowser is as simple as it is fun. Bowser can't jump or use hammers like the Mario Bros., intsead, he must rely on things he does best, such as punching and breathing fire, to complete each and every level to reach his castle. You go about your business, punching and burning everything in your way, defeating your brain-washed enemies and such, but occasionally, Bowser gets in a pinch, and he reluctantly leaves it to Mario and Luigi to do something in his body to solve the situation. From lifting objects to digesting food, or even just letting out a sneeze, Mario & Luigi must accomplish these little minigames inorder to progress through the game. Most of these minigames are touch-based controls (That means don't lose your stylus). Some of them can be fun, but for me I found these some of the worst moments in the game. To be fair though, they are unique and are fairly short. But as for the levels go in Bowser's body, it's nothing but 2D platforming levels.

    The story is great. The level design is excellent and the boss battles are epic.
    The music is meh, but I like it either way.
    Now, my biggest problem with this game is the fact that Mario and Luigi are getting eaten by Bowser.
    ReaLLY, that concept bothers me.

The visuals were really great, even for the giant boss battles. Lastly but not least, the outstanding music (composed by the legendary Yoko Shimomura, who composed Kingdom Hearts and others RPGs). Especially, the music for the final boss, it’s quite incredible and downright memorable! Right?

    Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story was a pleasurable and memorable experience for me. The humor, the gameplay, the music and lots of things that made this game very great (but still, few of the mini games were frustrating). This RPG is a must-play for Nintendo fans, Mario fans and maybe RPG fans. I’ll give this score a... 9.4! (10)    … Expand

    My favorite game on the DS. It's writing is humorous, the gameplay is smooth and refined, the graphics have a charming cartoon style to them, the music is great, and it's one of the few RPGs (that isn't Pokemon) that I'm willing to play over and over.

    Although the game's battle system, story, music and engine in general is amazing, this game still fails in my opinion to capture the truly epic feel of its prequel Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga for GBA. You can play as Mario and Luigi like the other two Mario & Luigi games in the series and as an added twist, Bowser as well which hasn't been done since Super Mario RPG: Legend of the SevenAlthough the game's battle system, story, music and engine in general is amazing, this game still fails in my opinion to capture the truly epic feel of its prequel Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga for GBA. You can play as Mario and Luigi like the other two Mario & Luigi games in the series and as an added twist, Bowser as well which hasn't been done since Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars back on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. An interesting mechanic is while playing RPG battles as Bowser, you can sometimes use a special skill and then switch to battling the same enemies as the Mario & Luigi which can cause an interesting change in tactics. There are also special Godzilla-like special boss battles as Bowser also which make unique and interesting use of the microphone and touch screen. There are also boss challenges and minigames as well which are pretty fun as well.… Expand

Controlling them is a pain, especoally when you have to mke jumps- you must press a and b at the same time. Combat is more exciting. It's turn-based, and clever, as certain attacks require you to coordinate attacks with both Mario and Luigi. The other person you play as is Bowser. He is forced to work together with Mario anf Luigi to resolve the plot. This is far better than the other form of control because you only control one character, it is not platforming, and it takes place from an isometric viewpoint. Overall, Bowser's Inside Story is good, but not a true RPG. Fans of the series will especially want to invest in this.… Expand

However, in practice, the developers severely screwed up. The good parts involve changing the internal environment of Bowser through his actions and navigating levels with Mario and Luigi this way. The bad parts come when you need Mario and Luigi to manipulate the inside of Bowser to create a change in him. These are done through some pretty frustrating mini-games. Sometimes it's just because they become very difficult and long to the point that if and when you mess up (and chances are you will many times), you not only lose coins but have to start over from the beginning and go through the whole thing again. Other times, such as the infamous pollen mini-game, the controls feel terribly unresponsive to the point that the mini-game seems unfair. The worst part is that many of these are mandatory and force you to complete them before you can move on with the game at all. You can't explore anything else or go anywhere else as a break, and you can't get around doing them. You just have to sit there and try to work your way through them. This could have been a terrific Mario RPG game, possibly better than its predecessors due to the very interesting setting, if not for these mishandled and seemingly forced mini-games.… Expand

    Game is build around timing. You have to react accordingly and it's basically a reaction game between walking around and reading dialogs. It's fun for some people, but I quickly learnt I'm not one of them. Sometimes timings can be really hard and you'll be struggling to make a counterattack or evade one of them. But the game itself is not hard, you'll be given a plenty of restoration items and do-overs. It just can be a little frustrating is all. On the other hand there's plenty of exploration and I liked that. You can explore regions as Mario and Luigi and as Bowser and they all can reach different places.
    Overall, I would recommend this game to mario fans (as you can play bowser and that's really cool if you ask me, he is lots of fun) and people who want some easy and cute rpg without deep involvement. It won't grab you into the story and hold you tightly until it's over. It's pretty relaxed game. Pick it up for some quick and basic fun.    … Expand

    I love the Paper Mario series thus my reasoning to buy this. I first found it to be fun and new. But as the "mini games" started to pile up and I started to get into the ridiculously boring "monster" battles. So to take a break from the hundreds of boss battles, I went off exploring. While playing as Bowser, you use the X and Y buttons to breath fire on all enemies or punch a single one with precise timing. He also has special attacks you can unlock by freeing his captured minions that use the touch screen. While playing as Mario & Luigi, it's all about the A and B buttons. You can either initiate a two part jump attack or a risky hammer strike(each hit a single enemy). Most of their special attacks are unlocked with the game's progression but there are two that are optional. There are also mini games for the bros that involve multiple gaming genres, such as Rhythm and 2D Shooter. MUSIC: There are more upbeat tracks in this game, like the main boss theme, but other great pieces like Dark Star Core. Not much of it is memorable, but it does fit the locations well.
    VISUALS: Aside from a few effects, EVERYTHING is done with pixels. For sprite animations, these are pretty damn well made and fun to look at.
    EXTRA CONTENT: Not much extra content to be found in the world itself. It's mainly focussed in the Globin Challenge Room for Mario & Luigi to either fight tougher versions of the bosses or test their skills with their special moves.
    FINAL ANALYSIS: I recommend this game to anyone. The story is admittedly weak, but the characters make up for it with great humor. Also, the gameplay is simple but addicting and the enemies all fight differently. This game makes use of the action commands in previous Mario RPGs, but better than ever.     It's a great game that go's on far too long. I enjoyed my time with it but within 8 hours I was losing it for a 20 hour game which made me start to lose interest.

It can be frustrating, but it doesn't damage the game at all. Overall, an excellent game that everyone should play. I'd give anything for a 4th Mario RPG game right now.… Expand

And yet despite all this, the game has plenty of ways to make it friendly for beginners: you'll occasionally find "retry clocks" that let you start a battle from the beginning, it always makes sure to explain thoroughly any new special attack you learn with the opportunity to practice it, and the game is very generous with coins and exp won from battles so you're not forced to grind. Even my wife who primarily plays casual games had a lot of fun playing it all the way from start to finish. Definitely worth buying!… Expand

    Bowser's Inside Story often breaks the forth wall, riffing on the strained relationships between various characters in the Mushroom Kingdom. Particularly amusing is the sidelining of Luigi - often referred to as "the green mustachioed one" or similarly dismissive names.

    As suggested by the title, you will spend a lot of time inside of Bowser's body, as Mario and Luigi. Bowser stomps around the world map, while M&L must visit various power centres of Bowser's insides and complete mini games to, for example, increase Bowser's muscle mass, or otherwise aid him in overcoming obstacles. This mechanic also comes into play during battles - Bowser can inhale some enemies, shrinking them down and taking them into his body and brining M&L into the fight. This is a great way to ensure that all three controllable characters can level up consistently.

    The story is great, with a funny script and interesting twists and turns. Really the only weak point of this game is the linearity and repetitive nature of the mini games. This is really a trait of the entire series, which might be labelled as "RPG-lite", so if you want something hardcore and intense look elsewhere. If you want fun, laughter, and a great cast then you've found your game.

    Pick up the first two (the first is on GBA, the second on DS like Inside Story), they are all very good games.    … Expand

Bowser's Inside Story is a simple but well done JRPG, perfect for a handheld console, and ideally suited for short sessions after playing more serious and complex RPGs.

    The gameplay follows the same formula than the previous Mario & Luig titles, but overall, it feels like a more straightforward experience compared to Superstar Saga. It is a bit shorter, and a bit more linear. However, the game doesn't feel shallow at all because of this. Around halfway through the story is when the game truly starts to open up all of its possibilities: The world starts to feel more like a world, and less like a collection of isolated levels, there is more optional stuff to do, and you already have a good amount of options when it comes to combat. Overall, the second half of the game gives you more of the freedom that I felt while playing Superstar Saga, and thus it becomes more enjoyable.

    The story is silly as always, and the characters are all hilarious. Bowser being a lovable *sshole, Luigi with his usual clumsiness, Fawful and his ridiculous way of speaking... This is a genuinely humorous game. I find it surprising how reluctant videogames are to embrace humor as a main theme. But Mario & Luigi does it, and it excels at doing it. It is clearly one of the most funny and lighthearted experiences you can have with games.

    The combat system is, like the game itself, simple and straightforward. But fun, addictive and charming at the same time. The Mario & Luigi series stands out among turn-based RPGS for being fast-paced and requiring a lot of player input. Basically, every attack or defense you perform is a minigame in itself. This prevents the combats from feeling dull and monotonous, as it constantly demands your attention. On top of that, add some special attacks that are very fun and satisfying to perform, and the overall charm of the visuals and music, and you have very enjoyable battles ahead of you.

    The game's big twist is being able to play as Bowser. On the overworld, Bowser has its advantages and its limitations compared to the Bros, and the same is true for the combat. Overall, I felt like playing as Bowser was a little less fun that playing with Mario & Luigi, but it's nothing really serious. The giant Bowser battles are ok, but the mic sometimes failed to me when trying to do a flame attack. The game is overall a bit annoying when it tries to use the touch screen, but once again, it's nothing too serious. I'd say that Bowser's Inside Story's biggest flaw is being a bit too annoying when it comes to tutorials.

    The game is well packed with content. Playing on a casual way, with a good bunch of side stuff done, It took me around 25 hours to beat the final boss. The presentation is colorful and silly, and the game is very fluid at all times. Music is great, with some really memorable tracks like the regular boss theme. That one always manages to get me pumped up for combat. On another note, Mario's and Luigi's "voice acting" is just so good.

    Bowser's Inside Story is a great choice if you're looking for a fun, fast-paced JRPG for your DS. For the type of game it tries to be, I'd say that it strikes the right balance between simplicity and depth, offering some real challenge at times, but overall being a fluid and straightforward experience. There are times where it feels a bit too simplistic, but like I said previously, the pacing gets better in the second half. Humor is top-notch, and the presentation is colorful and charming. All in all, one of the greatest titles for the Nintendo DS.

He does a lot of crazy stuff in this game too, like pulling an island with a single strand of rope, pushing a boat by friggin' sneezing, and growing to sizes that Godzilla would be jealous of. His dialogue is pure comedy gold and can even compete with Fawful's quirky personality. This game is absolutely fantastic! The battles with Mario and Luigi are much the same (which is a good thing as it was flawless already), but on top of that you can also now play as Bowser, who has a completely unique moveset, including being unable to jump. This means that traversing theNot only is this a perfect Mario RPG, but it is a perfect RPG period. It builds upon the amazing Partners In Time by adding new concepts. The battles with Mario and Luigi are much the same (which is a good thing as it was flawless already), but on top of that you can also now play as Bowser, who has a completely unique moveset, including being unable to jump. This means that traversing the same areas twice as the different characters does not feel repetitive at all, nor even fighting the same enemies. The transitions between the plumbers and Bowser work seemlessly into the deep story and don't feel like simply changing character to get through a particular area.
    The game also features some unique puzzles and minigames that complement the story and actually make sense as part of it. A lot of these involve Mario and Luigi healing body issues Bowser picks up during the events of the game. As Mario and Luigi are inside Bowser after being inhaled by use of a vacuum shroom, there are unique areas and enemies that are unlike any seen before in the Mario franchise, keeping it fresh.
    It also must be said that this is one of the most humorous games of all time. There are so many laugh out loud moments, the majority of which are delivered by the hilarious villain Fawful. Seriously, this game is so well-written and is worth playing for this alone, not to mention sublime boss battles, including giant Bowser battles controlled using the touchscreen, and the stellar soundtrack, particularly 'In the Final', the final boss theme.
    This game does almost everything right and it's actually very hard to fault it.

    This is the final game of the original Mario & Luigi Trilogy. For me, all of them were perfect. But some users try to compare it to Paper Mario, even tough this series are a sequel for the original Mario RPG game for SNES, that's appreciable due to its combat system and the original story. This game simply ended the trilogy the best it could.

    Truly my favorite game of all time with fun battles and good humor, giant bowser battles make good use of the touch screen and the final boss theme is amazing. I would enter the fight and just sit there doing nothing to listen to that awesome theme.

    From the amazingly cheesy humor that is familiar to the Mario franchise to the enticing storyline, Bowser's Inside Story is an amazing edition to the Mario and Luigi game series. If you are a long time fan of Nintendo RPG's or want to try one, I highly recommend you try this game!

    Fantastic game, I love it! The story is very good and original, just like the fantastic soundtrack. It has fantastic characters (very, very good) and lots of humour. The game is not too hard, but sometimes, battles can take you by surprise and take you 10 times to beat. The game is long, and did I say that the characters and story were great already?     I haven't really finished the game, mostly because I lost it, but I have some REALLY good memories with it.

    Pros: + Combat: I loved the turn-based combat in M&L:BIS. Unlike Pokemon, it gets pretty interactive even when it isn't your turn. + Playing as Bowser: While I prefer Odyssey's Bowser segments over this game's playable Bowser, I still enjoyed playing as him and beating down    I haven't really finished the game, mostly because I lost it, but I have some REALLY good memories with it.

    Fantastic RPG. I didn't expect it to be so darn fun, but it was. A great story, fun minigames, great use of the DS's features, fun combat and exploration, great art style, and hilarious writing. Definitely a DS essential.

The story is great, the characters are great, the music is great, the humor is great, and FAWFUL IS THE BEST! Bowser being an actual main character was a blast to play as. He brings so much charm to the game. With the remake coming out next year, I'm excited to see if Nintendo canBowser's Inside Story is one of my favorite video games of all time, and easily the best of every Mario RPG.     I love this game. It’s absolutely stunning in both story and gameplay. It isn’t perfect though. For example, the carrot minigame. If you’re not familiar with this game, then it’s extremely challenging. Then the muscle minigame. It just gets annoying after a while. I’d still recommend this to a friend, though.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I still remember back in the day, I would play this game for hours, in my Mom's old yoga studio after school while sipping a mango lassi. I had good times smashing enemies as the King Koopa himself. Returning to this game after many years has been a nostalgic experience, I love so many things about this game but after completing it for the first time, I felt a bit empty. Here's the scoop, the first act of the game is utterly brilliant, a classic Superstar Saga tutorial battle followed by Bowser buying drugs off the street...I mean obtaining a mysterious mushroom from a complete stranger(Either way, Bowser think of your kids that may or may not exist in this universe, since this isn't the remake). Oh and there's the "Blorbs" disease too...but you're likely to forget about that plot until the 2nd act of the game, when Mario and Luigi enter Toad Town. Anyway, I'm having a good time with the first Mario and Luigi level. After Bowser sucks everyone up, Mario is sent to a creative side scrolling world that lies within Bowser. Grinding and practicing my timing attacks just gives me such a warm feeling inside. Every time you level up you have the option of boosting one of your stats little further and little things like this can even make grinding really enjoyable. Bowser wakes up and learns about the returning villain Fawful's plan to take over the Mushroom Kingdom. And after a quick showdown with his very own Wario Land clone, he sets off on a quest to reclaim is title as the Mushroom Kingdom's top villain. Man I love Cave Cape's music, its a shame that there's barely anything to do in accept come back and use your new abilities to collect some hidden treasure. But moving on, playing as Bowser is the best thing about this game! Throwing wicked punches and setting blaze to my foes, it's the literal best to play as a boss. And then comes the Vacuum Block, its a great mechanic but I hate the control. The DS is made for swift movement, not intense button mashing! I'll get back to the worst of it later. The 1st act takes us through a nice order of levels. Bowser's intestine trash pit, a cape, a beach, Bowser's esophagus where you have the change the water level very once in a while on the outside, a forest, a Birdo worm fight, a Giant Bowser battle(which is freaking awesome to control), a quick field level, and finally Bowser's castle. It's a nice lineup that keep you motivated with a few fun mini games here and there. Seeing the world with Bowser's eyes is just an interesting experience. But his naive character leads to his downfall, as I roll my eyes with a missed opportunity to knock out Fawful. The 2nd act of the game has us search for Star Cures to remove Fawful's Dark Star barrier and remove the Blorbs disease. It's a fine act for what it is, but Bowser is just shoved aside for the most part as I start to remember that the Bros have platformer levels. While exploring the exterior of Bowser's Castle, I'm pondering why are their puzzle mechanics exclusive to Bowser's new Body Slam technique? Heck, his shell print is placed onto to the puzzle obstacles. Did Fawful install this? Why? This game is creative, but it like a kids cartoon that doesn't make a lick of sense sometimes. After collect all of the Star Cures and some new special moves, Mario and Luigi storm the castle and free Bowser from his safe prison, its a race against the clock to stop Fawful from draining the power of the ancient Dark Star. But the Bros. can't enter the castle...because the game won't let them. So Bowser storms the castle after the game literally asks us to take a break while we heal his back. Honestly why not? The pollen and leg muscle mini games were stressing me out a tad. And we reach the 3rd and final act of the game. It's also my least favorite part of the game. I'm glad Bowser's Spike Ball ability helps speed things up, but why is there an entire contraption dedicated to this ability within the castle!? I was about to take this game's plot seriously with the dark star, but this is just bizarre! And the boss fights here are really cool, but they're just visually stunning. Mashing that X button with your life force in order to win the battle is just painful. And the painful brew is mixed in with tedious mini games that just slows everything down. The Dark Bowser fight in particular is a mess. Again, it LOOKS awesome...BUT you can't defeat him unless you can suck up his healer, Fawful. And I killed Dark Bowser like 13 times, because I just couldn't summon the might to mash the X Button enough according to this game's standard's. And even after I finally did it, Fawful can just crawl out if you don't defeat him in time. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? Afterword, Bowser is beat up by the Bros and they send him a "thank you cake", for technically saving the world. This game is rather good, but since the post game just consists of collecting and grinding, I'm done here. It's just a game to experience once because the remake just has more content.… Expand

    Playing as Bowser in a Mario game is a refreshing change of pace. In previous games, he was always the big baddie to defeat. But here? you play as him and experience his perspective, thoughts, and abilities which overshadow the brothers.
    His personality and humor make him a standout char, with his constant grumbling and the hilarious dialogue between him and the world.

    The Story of the game is fantastic, it's got "Story" in its name for a reason, any game where you have such a unique scenario of the hero's and villain teaming up to defeat a greater evil is gonna be flames.

    Bowser's Inside Story is an excellent game that showcases why Bowser is such a beloved character in the Mario universe. His unique abilities and humorous personality add a new dimension to the game, and the game as a whole from top to bottom is top notch for the DS.

The story is quite interesting and for the most part, manages to keep me invested for its duration. Unique, new characters and enemies makes this feel so special and different from other mario games, which also a huge plus. The music is also SO good and has many catchy tracks. Fawful as the main villain does his job very well, and i really enjoy the way he speaks and is overall a very entertaining villain, but i am not overly crazy about him like most seems. Playing as Bowser is incredible! He is such an intersting character when he is not the main villain, he is just a big loveable goofball. Though for me, he does overshadow Mario and Luigi. There are a few times where i say to myself id rather play as Bowser. Minigames are mostly ok. Eating the carrot and Nose deck are frustrating and annoying and i just don`t like them. Smacking small energy balls to increase Bowser`s muscles to a beat is easily my favorite one.
    Overall Bowser`s Inside story is an excellent game, with some problems for me, but none overshadows the game`s postives at all and still manages to be a favorite of mine. This game has pretty much everything i could want from a Mario RPG.    … Expand

    Le game good. The combat is enertaining for both charcters hitting an excellent on bowser is extremly satisfying and playing as the bros is just as good. The dialoge and story is funny, logical and unique. The overworld is also a joy to explore as both charcters even though sometimes its a bit confusing of how to get somewhere as a different character but thats probably just me. The musicLe game good.     Fans who loved the first two games shouldn't hesitate in picking up Bowser's Inside Story. It features everything that makes the series enjoyable and adds onto it everything but the kitchen sink. Despite a few minor flaws, it's a game that features an ingenious game design synonymous with Nintendo games and is easily one of the best DS games of the year.
