  1. As Chandler once said on Friends, this game is silly because it knows that “we enjoy the silliness.” Hmmm, that gives me an idea for another challenge.
  2. You want to take this game seriously, you can do that. You want to goof around and draw naked stick figures, you can do that.

With the right people involved, this can turn a dull bus ride or airport lounge into an extremely good fun, and crucially, a very personal gaming session. [Aug 2008, p.112]

LOL certainly brought out the funny in the NGamer office, but apart from that this is about as lightweight as DS games come. [Sept 2008, p.64]

LOL is as deep as you want to make it, but it only takes a matter of hours until it gets old.
  6. Bakushow is really as good as the people that it’s played with; fortunately, I played it with some great people. It feels a little incomplete in places, however, and there’s a lot of room for change if a second is to come out. The lack of colours and a keyboard is criminal, but the game is great fun overall as long as being spoon-fed isn’t something you enjoy.
  7. While LOL is a good idea and genuinely is a lot of fun, it lacks many necessary features and options to make it recommendable over just using Pictochat.

If you've got three enthusiastic mates, preferably each willing to chip in for the game, then there's a lot of fun to be had here. But, for most people, it would probably be cheaper and easier to stick with plain ol' Pictionary.
  9. A rough draft for what could become a masterpiece, Bakushow is messy, unfinished and not yet worth the money.
