Despite its quality it won't set the world on fire like it did back in the Eighties, but it's a poignant and subtle reminder of how games used to be written and how wonderfully brilliant games back then could be.
-
This Impossible Mission remake won't set the scene alight as it did during the '80s but it's a solid, faithful rendition of a cherished old classic.
-
In the shadow of this missed opportunity, Impossible Mission is just a tease.
-
Another pop-culture museum piece gets the time-warp treatment, this time the apparently ageless Impossible Mission.
-
Even with the knowledge of that bug, I really wasn't all that hot for the Impossible Mission design. I love reliving old-school designs, but in the case of the Nintendo DS version it should have been one of several games instead of a headlining solo outing.
-
Nintendo GamerOur relationship with IM is similar to the one we have with our grandparents - kudos for giving us life, but pardon us if we don't want to play with them. [Sept 2007, p.70]
-
Not particularly sure why this game is valued at AU$49, since it is such a simplified game that barely holds any substance compared to newer and similarly priced games.
