  1. For a puzzle game departure from a slow-paced simulation series, Harvest Moon: Frantic Farming really does deliver. It brings a unique puzzle game and pairs it with the charm and mystery of a Harvest Moon dilemma, creating a game that is part puzzle, part adventure.
  2. 85
Harvest Moon: Frantic Farming takes the world of farms to a different path from the main series, but not far from its essence, theme and amusement.

Plenty of unlockables keep this produce market-fresh for a long time. [July 2009, p.87]
  4. You'll need a stylus instead of a shovel in Frantic Farming, an outright, full-blown, pull-your-hair-out puzzler that offers a fresh perspective on the genre and an addictive gameplay hook. It's not perfect, but it's one hell of a crop.

Unfortunately, in order for a player to lay claim to Frantic Farming mastery, he'll need to perfect one specific technique. [Aug 2009, p.84]

Harvest Moon should stick to the cow-tending. [Dec 2009, p.70]

The Harvest Moon games are usually entertaining, but Frantinc Farming lives up to the name and it is unacceptable short with playtime short of an hour. And it just isn't fun enogh to play through more than a few times at most either, so do yourself the favor and buy another puzzler instead.

I really had high hopes for this game, but sadly it really disappointed me... The story was really short and there really wasn't much I really had high hopes for this game, but sadly it really disappointed me... The story was really short and there really wasn't much action in my opinion. I think as a single player game it sucks, but it could be fun with a few other friends. I'm sure it's a hit with the younger crowd as well. Full Review »
