Look at your surroundings and you will quickly get one of bonuses such as a vaccine or a micro-world equivalent of a rocket-launcher! With this kind of equipment the viruses don’t stand a chance! The game features two game-play modes. In the Normal mode your goal is to make the longest DNA chain while in the Baby mode you are a DNA guardian sneaking between enemies to transport DNA pieces to safety.     While the graphics and sound aren't exactly anything to write home about, especially considering most of the former consists of the same graphics overlayed repeatedly and most of the latter consists of squeaks and cheers, that's not really necessary in a game like this.

    Like the petri dish in which it takes place, Escape the Virus: Swarm Survival is shallow, but there's fun to be found. It's quick, hectic and has that "one more try" quality that makes for a good on-the-go game. It's let down by slightly lacklustre presentation and having no way to compare your high scores with friends, and the difficulty is artificially inflated by the small screen resolution, but for 200 Points these are quibbles. If the concept appeals to you and you enjoy beating your own records, you'll have a good time surviving this swarm.

    Baby mode's simple objective, controls, and consequences set it apart from the directionless chaos of the main activity; there's a strategy in deciding just how much you think you can ingest and still evade the growing virus horde. It's not substantially deeper than the normal mode, but it is quite a bit more fun.
