While it's pretty linear and you can get through the game in about six to eight hours, younger players and those who don't go the walkthrough route will find it enjoyable to tackle the game at their leisure.
  2. DS should be the platform of choice for the Eragon fans looking for a good movie-tie in. While the graphics aren’t close to the other platforms, gameplay is light years ahead of the 360 version. Combat and controls are good, and the magic system gives the player a feeling of “casting” spells.
  3. Fans of the Zelda series, as well as anyone who’s keen on free-roaming adventure games, will be in handheld heaven.

The combat system is fluid and fun, with lots of variety. The damage physics and sound really feel like you're planting real hits on the enemies. The spell casting is a two part system of draw-first, then flick the spell from the touch screen. It's very satisfying. The huge landscapes are really engrossing, too, making this a really meaty adventure. Points off for abrubt ending and not much to bring you back, save for a complete replay sometime down the line when you're itching for some visceral kills. Full Review »

I am enjoying it! It is nice to have an open area to fight in (like ffxll). Are the clay pots just decoration? I feel it is a great game.
