    Before you know it, it'll be that time of year again. Detn8 Games Ltd. gets the holiday season rolling with the release of Elf Bowling Collector's Edition for the Nintendo DS. The game is a compilation of five classic holiday favorites in the Elf Bowling series.

    It's a "short" life and not a very merry one for Santa's unionized elves as they get bowled over, shuffled, slingshot, rolled, and tossed around the North Pole - all part of Santa's approach to collective bargaining. Santa makes his point to the snickering, work-stopped elves in Elf Bowling, Elf Bowling 2 - "Elves in Paradise," Elf Bowling 3, Elf Bowling 4 - "Super Elf Bowling," and Elf Bowling 5 - "Air Biscuits."

    Elf Bowling is the original bowling game with elves as bowling pins. The elves go shuffleboarding on a cruise ship in "Elves in Paradise." In Elf Bowling 3, elves are slingsot at targets, with Santa using a certain double-barrel undergarment courtesy of Mrs. Claus. "Super Elf Bowling" is a 3D version of Elf Bowling, with six alleys and three ball-throwing methods. In "Air Biscuits," Santa bowls the natural gas-propelled elves off a mound of snow to see how far they can fly.    … Expand
