ChrisDSep 22, 2009A fun and creative time killer, but not much more. Unfortunately small and limited. I loved it dearly for about a week and never touched it again.

JohnJul 11, 2005For an FPS, it's not very good. Not a big enough selection of guns. Repetitive enemies.

RobinH.Aug 10, 2005This title makes people smile - even when they aren't playing it. Beautiful tones, great visuals - cute and simple but deep in places and ways you wouldn't expect! Share it with friends, bring it to the dentist's office - you are bound to make friends. I keep thinking I'll tire of it, but there's always some new soundscape to explore. A must for DS owners!!!

ChristiM.Jul 5, 2005An absolute gem of a toy. If this is what Ninty mean by "changing the way we play forever" then I'm all for it. It's innovative, beautiful, and a joy to explore.

slybriJan 3, 2006Turns the DS into a musical instrument which is no where near as cool as a guitar or as beautiful as a piano. In fact it will make you look like an idiot child in public. Put down the fisher-price toys, learn to play a guitar. It gets you chicks!

BudJan 12, 2010Awesome and captivating. I don't know who wrote the review from "Stuff", but they're obviously not looking hard enough.

BenP.Apr 30, 2005This kind of thing is what the DS is all about. Quick, addictive, original, and above all fun. Games that bring non-gamers to the goodness of Nintendo.

JesseF.Jul 20, 2005I completely disagree. The selection of guns is fantastic.

[Anonymous]Aug 1, 2005Really good idea, this is even better than my Talkboy. oh and John, you're a freakin idiot because of the simple mistake of thinking this is an FPS. Its a music toy

Yo-YoAug 5, 2005This game is an awesome "game", if you could even call it a game. It's one of a kind, and deserves to be recognized.

SteveN.Jul 22, 2005Amazing, and entertaining. Awesome replay value as it's different every time you play...very fun with a casette tape adaptor and a sterio!. A must have.

BlakeT.Jan 11, 2006OMG! You can't save your creations! Can you believe it! Yes, it is fun to be creative. But, when you shut down, you lose everything! I still can't believe the game won't let you save. What were they thinking?

HoffaHOct 18, 2006Very cool concept. It's not really a game, but a chill interactive experience. At first I thought I would get bored, but once I got started I didn't want to stop. Basically, you compose music in a semi-intentional and semi-accidental fashion. I got REALLY into it. Very relaxing yet somehow engaging. Beautiful art. Play with a good set of headphones for the best experience.

DJTDec 15, 2007"Eh"... that's all i can say. It's pretty, it's neat, it's cool... but for maybe 6 minutes. Otherwise, you'll put it away and never touch it again. So you make sounds and neat things happen on the screen with the stylus. Then what? Oh yeah... you'll go back to gamestop and get another game to play.

Jun 10, 2014Difícil decir si es un videojuego o un programa de música interactiva, pero sin duda una de las genialidades más grandes de la DS. Amable y simpático es una pieza de arte digital que debería exponerse en museos.

May 22, 2023Make music by poking little sea creatures on your DS screen. There's no more to it than that, so it can barely be described as a "game". Soothing in very small doses but if you have no talent for music it will have a very short shelf life.

Electroplankton doesn't provide thrills as much as it stimulates creativity. One major disappointment is that while Electroplankton does promote art, it doesn't allow you to save anything. [JPN Import]
-
Toshio Iwai has captured this very special desire, our need to express ourselves... Silky smooth to the touch, Electroplankton tantalizes the senses. [JPN Import]
-
If you find yourself even slightly interested, do yourself a favor and give Electroplankton a chance. It is not an experience you'll likely ever come across again. [JPN Import]
