The game’s combat system is surprisingly fun despite being quite button-mashing friendly. It also retains the Shrek humor found in the previous games.
-
A decent attempt at a 3D brawler on the Nintendo DS, but the gameplay quickly wears thin, leaving you with nothing more than a somewhat dated license.
-
Due to the game’s nature and lack of variety, Shrek SuperSlam is not for everyone. But if you’re a kid who loves Shrek or if you have a kid who loves Shrek, you can’t go wrong with this title.
-
A watered down port of an already weak console fighter clone, Shrek Superslam on the DS offers nothing new and a number of frustrations and disappointments to boot.
-
The DS version of this game just missed the boat on so many features that the hardware could have made use of.
-
Unpolished gameplay mixes with weak presentation and seemingly unfinished mini-games to create yet another lackluster Shrek product.
-
Not worth a glance while searching the racks at your local video game store. Easily one of the wor[st] Nintendo DS games yet.

Dec 28, 2020Alright enough for what is ultimately DS shovelware. Graphics are pretty bad but character moves were pretty good. Basically 3d Smash Bros.

Mar 28, 2020Shrek SuperSlam for the DS can be fun at times, but issues with slowdown and lack of polish make for a medi-ogre experience.
