    All in all Cars 2 is a pretty cool adaption of the computer-animated movie. The mix of the known characters, different mission-types, located speech output and the easy handling makes the game pretty enjoyable.

    I'm still scratching my head at the reasoning behind taking the DS Cars 2 in a completely different direction than the consoles.

    Cars 2 for the Nintendo DS is an average title that could have been a whole lot more, considering how well the console versions were executed.

    As you'd expect from a Disney production, it's a technically sound game with a decent amount of content, but the tedious nature of most of the levels make this hard to recommend to anyone, other than to Cars 2 fans who only own a DS and are desperate to play as their favorite characters.

    Cars 2 features some surprisingly unique stealth sections, but is let down by the awful controls and terrible racing action.
