    The GTA V Killer. It truly should have been released on PS4 or Xbox One to show its full potential because it looks beautiful. One of those times where 11/10 would have been useful

    This game is a masterpiece! The music is beautifully composed and so much time and effort went into designing the mini-games. 10 out of 10 in my books, I highly recomend it!

    In a time where TV show and movie games fill the bottom of the ranks, Cory in the House breaks through the noise.
    With stunning graphics and intense, edge of your seat gameplay, Cory in the House has to be the masterpiece of the decade.

    I didn't want to believe it, but after playing just five minutes I regretted not having played this awesome game in 2008. I highly recommend the purchase as the enjoyment and realism of this game is nowhere compared to this year's games like The Last of Us, GTA V, etc. I can't even understand how this game could go beyond DS limits and show the best and more fluid graphics I've ever seenI didn't want to believe it, but after playing just five minutes I regretted not having played this awesome game in 2008. I highly recommend the purchase as the enjoyment and realism of this game is nowhere compared to this year's games like The Last of Us, GTA V, etc. I can't even understand how this game could go beyond DS limits and show the best and more fluid graphics I've ever seen on a portable system.     GOTY. Enough said. I play this more than GTA V and Battlefield 4 combined. The plot is intricate and well thought out, and the humor is tasteful. I really enjoyed playing this game in my off time from working for JIDF

    Once in a blue moon a truly monumental game comes out, this just so happened to be Cory in the House. Inspired by the Disney Channel show, this game could have been a stand alone game. After playing this game I have never felt better, my back pains healed up and my wife came back to life and after she finished playing the game she felt pure again and filled with plenty of ambition.     This game will cement itself as the best ever. Everything about it is sublime, it is a masterpiece in the true sense of the word. Corey in the house is not just a game, it's an enthralling political drama. People will look back at this in the future as the game changer. Every game should take note.

I met my wife at a Cory in the House fan club meeting. We discussed how Cory each of us were. I was discussing the fact that Cory is indeed in the house as previously stated in this review section when a beautiful woman came up to me and proceeded to suck on my flaccid penis.     This game is phenomenal! From the catchy synthesized music to the detailed artwork, I was wowed from the beginning. Yes, it's based on some Disney show that I don't watch, but the theme doesn't lower the quality of the gameplay and story.

    From the very first level, one can tell this is not a simple shoot-em-up or puzzle game. This is a fully functional and in-depth    This game is phenomenal! Now, these gadgets aren't realistic, they're actually mini-games, but it's still fun. The music is catchy during the action sequences and moody during the sneaking missions.

On the surface it may look like just another licensed but if you give it the time you will find it is so much more. From the pristine graphics that put Crysis to shame to the fully orchestrated soundtrack created from unreleased Mozart, Tchaikovsky and Giuseppe Verdi scores, it truly pushes theGames like Cory in the House for the Nintendo DS are truly a once in a lifetime experience.     I wont go in to deeply to the story as I do not wish to spoil it but the climax of the Presidential Bobble Head arc left me in tears, something other "well written" games have failed to do.
    The gameplay is hard to describe since there was nothing like it before and the many imposters that came after have completely failed to capture its beauty. It's truly something that can only be experienced for yourself rather than described.

    I just got this game a short while ago for a steal of only $250 bucks(thx gamestop,) and honestly it was worth every cent, this game is an instant classic, with gameplay and story that will make u not want to put it down, 200/1 would buy again for the same price, even double or triple what i payed for it.

Never before has a game captured such a riveting and deep story line, complete with a top of the line combat system that even Dark Souls can't compete with. It touches on issues of friendship, courage, socioeconomic, and what-do-I-want-for-lunch type problems. This game is a 10/10, game of the century. It saddens me to death that I will never,This game was so good, that I literally died. With the new InteractivePlay engine that Disney implemented it puts top games like Battlefield 4 and Call of Duty: Ghosts to shame, the dialogue which was written by Charlie Kaufman really drives home the fact that, yes, Cory is inBeginning from the end of the game I would like to say that this game was easily one of the most riveting games that I have ever played in my entire life time. Any person that calls themselves a gamer should definitely get this game.

    This game is truly amazing and for a game based on a mediocre television series, it is a wonderful, addicting game with very difficult yet fun puzzles, funny dialogue, and amazing replay-ability with the ability to be different characters and play through different diverse scenarios. I recommend this game to anyone, whether you are a CiTH fan or not

The story is very thought provoking, about what it means to be the president of the United States or at least working for any president, and I'm not going to give spoilers, as the game should be completely experienced alone and any twist should come as a surprise.. I can't explain anymore on why this game is an instant classic, go out and buy this game at least 20 or 30 times, however even that isn't enough to reward the developers, or artists as they should be called, for their work in creating the GREATEST game ever made on ANY platform.… Expand

    Cory is trying to protect the American government from the Robot Nazis that Shrek has summoned, so Cory ends up going on an epic adventure to save humanity by killing the Robot Nazis and Shrek by going back in time to summon Jesus Christ by his side. Once after 30+ hours of a genocide crusade, Cory goes back to time with Jesus to kill Shrek. But it turns out that Shrek was the one who have created the Genocide Crusade in Jesus birth, so, to prevent a 2012 from happening, he goes back to the big bang to stop the universe from summoning so he can be the man in the house, but it turns out that Shrek was the universe, so then Cory fights Shrek in an epic long 40000000000000+ hour boss battle then if you manage to defeat him (By the way, this game is 1000000000x harder then Dark Souls) You win and Cory destroys the universe and Satan for some strange reason.

But time has served Cory in the House well, and it is now deservedly hailed as one of gaming's all time greats (Greatest of all time if you ask me). Everything about this game is just so perfect, from it's jaw dropping visuals, it's immense and innovative game-play to it'sOriginally panned unfairly by the critics for being so fresh and innovative they had seen nothing like it before.     The story is extremely realistic and believable, with interesting twists and surprises. On top, the graphics rival that of Crysis 3, even when extremely modded - which isn't even possible yet! Gameplay-wise, I pray regularly to my based Cory God in thanks for blessing me with this deep and complex game. Truly riveting and enrapturing game mechanics keep you hooked for the whole Cory journey. Finally, a wide, diverse cast of characters give the game the charming feel.     I cried more tears of joy while playing this game than witnessing my own son being born. The story was amazing with great character development, strong voice acting, and a satiating end.     This is one of those games that made me wonder why I hadn't played it earlier. The voice acting from everyone involved is great, Marlon Brando comes across perfectly as the head of the family, and James Caan and Al Pacino are excellent as his sons. The soundtrack by Nino Rota is also very memorable, bringing back memories of the series every time I hear it. The plot has to be excellent for it to get ten out of ten, and it is, it's far from predictable and the cinematics are the definitions of epic.

    The plot is pretty shocking in the way every death occurs almost instantaneously, and as it spans ten years so many different things happen and every minute of it is great entertainment. It's a well-made and entertaining story that is only the first part of a more complex universe, but it stands on its own as a wonderful game in its own right. If you haven't played it, what are you waiting for? This was one acclaimed Ds game that didn't disappoint.    … Expand

Slave owners were constantly looking for reasons for slavery and proof that africans were less than human, and as slavery was close to being abolished slave owners were looking for reasons more than ever. One of these reasons was found in Herman Melville’s novella, Benito Cereno, which was used as an argument against slavery at the same time. The story was written in 1855 close to a decade before the abolition of slavery and at a point in time when Northern states and Southern states were divided heavily on this subject. Depending on which characters and actions you pay attention to you can see the story as pro- or anti- slavery. For example the character of Babo can be seen as a savage or a highly intelligent person depending on what you pay attention to and what you don’t. Ultimately people saw what they wanted to and interpreted as such.

    Someone who see’s Benito Cereno as pro-slavery will focus more on Babo killing his master and using his skeleton as a warning to the other sailors. Readers see him as a savage for killing someone who kidnapped him and treated him as animal, and they ignore the fact that at the end of the novella Babo’s head is put on a spike to serve as a warning to other slaves thinking about rebelling. Readers who see this story as an argument against slavery take the whole story into account; Babo killing another human is bad but not savage, and Babo putting his victim on display as a warning is savage, however we do the same to Babo. We kill him and put his head on display. If you are going to call Africans savages because one slave put his victim on display then we are just as savage, if not more, because a whole group of people decided that killing someone and putting them on display was the right thing to do.

    Another reason readers can interpret this story as pro-slavery is because the ex-slaves seem to be the villains in this story. They overthrow a ship, kill sailors in their sleep, and treat the remaining sailors like animals, however they are easily overthrown by Delano and his crew due to their lack of intelligence. For an anti-slavery reader the slaves are fighting for freedom and they just want to get somewhere safe where they can live normal live. And as for intelligence Babo is able to control Benito and fool Delano, it’s only luck that Benito survives his jump into Delano’s boat without Babo killing him. If blacks were truly inferior to whites they wouldn’t have been able fool Delano or even take over the San Dominick. We are equal, the Africans won once and the Europeans won once. If Melville meant for this story to be pro-slavery he would have made the slaves malicious and more animalistic as well as unintelligent. Instead the slaves are intelligent people in search of freedom and peace. They don’t kill the sailors because the want to, they kill them because it is necessary to in order to have freedom.

For example a pro-slavery reader will place less importance on the resolution of the story because the bulk of the anti-slavery message is located in the end of the novella. They might look at the mutiny but not the reason for the mutiny, or look at Benito Cereno as an innocent victim and forget that he transported slaves for a living. If Melville wanted Cereno to be innocent he could have had him as a passenger on the ship instead of someone who profits off the sale of people.

    Melville’s novella Benito Cereno and John Ford’s film The Searchers have many similarities in the ways they show racism, neither of them outright call out racism as bad but instead it’s the subtext that says this. They both show that both sides are equal, and despite the fact that one side is a clear victor neither side is superior. Herman Melville was anti-slavery, he was able to show a role reversal of slavery that caused some people to question it’s place in the world. It is people like Melville that helped the abolitionist movement progress as fast as it did. With stories to show the evils of slavery many Northerners may have stayed “neutral” to slavery (which was essentially supporting it).     This game is simply genre defining. It takes the fleshed-out, developed characters from the award winning anime; combines them with a heart wrenching, unpredictable plot that will have you crying tears of happiness from start to end and has some of the best gameplay mechanics ever seen in the Nintendo DS's generation. To put it simply; a masterpiece of visual entertainment.

Man has gone to the moon and climbed to top of the highest peak, but nothing can compare to glory of mankind that is Cory in the House for the Nintendo DS. The story, it made me question my life and moral ethics as a person. The gameplay, so immersive I felt as though I were actually in the house. The graphics, toCory in the House is not just a game.     I honestly have no idea anyone wouldn't love this game. Too many days have gone by where I cry myself to sleep.

    This game is a piece of art; good graphics, great storyline, and enticing online gameplay. If I could, I would rate this perfect game over a 10, 10 does not do it justice.

Controls smooth as a pelican caught in the gulf oil spill. Realistic and heart pounding action that would put the Mad Max movies to shame. The line was roughly around 300m long which is massive since i live in a remote Australian outback town with a population of 67. I noticed that 50% had sleeping bags and had slept there for the past 2 weeks. You're probably wondering why there was a massive line in front of my local department store, well it was the release day for Cory in the House ds game. This game had so much pre-release hype to it and today all the fans of Cory in the House tv show would finally get their hands on the game. So i joined the end of the line and and 39 hours later i received my copy, i very carefully brought it to my car and put the seat belt on it. When i finally got home i opened with goosebumps and sweaty hands because of the anticipation and hype i have had for this game. As soon as the title screen appeared i was simply amazed, this game was astonishing. It was so much better than everyone thought it would be, and everyone knew it would be on of the best games ever, but to say this was one of the best games ever doesn't show respect to this game, this game gives ocarina of time a run for its money. The story line is beyond amazing, it has so much depth to it. The visuals were just phenomenal,i honestly had no idea the ds could run games with such good graphics. The controls are just wow, i cant say anymore, they just came so natural to me. This is more than a game, this is art. Homo Sapiens may have made and discovered some of the most scientifically astonishing things like Darwin's theory of evolution, the big bang theory, string theory, Pyramids of Giza, gravity, penicillin, periodic table and the large Hadron Collider but Cory in the House ds game is the pinnacle of human inventions and discoveries. I hope human culture never forgets this game and if extra terrestrial life ever visits us, I hope we share the masterpiece that Cory in the House ds game is.
