For those looking for a simple, arcade-inspired DS racer for on-the-go gaming Dirt 2 is a fine option. You’ve got some great licensed cars, a strong driving engine that has seen years or work, some decent visuals, crisp MP3 music tracks, and a pretty consistent framerate.

Dirt 2 is by no means a bad game, but when compared to other games on the platform – more specifically from Firebrand themselves – it feels a little stale.
