    This is a strange game indeed. On the one hand the inclusion of many Digimon, especially baby Digimon, is nice. But on the other hand the lack of player involvement in battles and such is unfortunate. One thing I really don't like is how frequent Title Matches are. Considering they're really the whole point of the game, you should get more time to prepare by training. Digimon gettingThis is a strange game indeed. One thing I really don't like is how frequent Title Matches are. Considering they're really the whole point of the game, you should get more time to prepare by training. Digimon getting injured is also not something I like, and it's pretty weird to see a majestic Digimon like Angemon or Angewoman take a dump. Overall my biggest problem with it is that the game feels too rushed, with Title Match after Title Match, and the time flying so a day is less than 2 real minutes.… Expand

    Digimon: World Championship feels a lot like the little handheld virtual pets that inspired it. While this is great for a trip down memory lane, it just doesn't work as a standalone game.

    A great step up from the digital pets of old, and would be a good choice for the youngest of gamer demographics. Other than that, the game lacks any real gameplay value and is more a time-consuming and minimally enjoyable chore.
