Aug 5, 2016This game is a fun call back to the early, Tomogotchi days of Digimon, and is a addicting game all around. The battle system is rather disappointing how you don't directly control the Digimon in combat, but the sprite work is fantastic and capturing or Digivolving the Digimon is fun.

Jun 13, 2016The battles are good. But, the huge problem with this game is very short time. You won't have enough time to train and raise Digimon. You won't be able to get a ton of medals in one day. The game should had been based on real time.

May 24, 2023Another glorified Tamagotchi rendered utterly pointless by battles over which you have absolutely no control.
-
May 8, 2017lmao all these people complaining that you can't control the digimon during battle "hurr durr you don't actually play the game" these people don't realize the point of the game or the fact that your job is to raise the digimon to fight on their own like really, they have no idea what they are talking about.

Aug 18, 2023Fine addition to the Digimon World franchise. If you liked the Tamagotchi-esc gameplay of the OG Digimon World games, then this is within your interests.
-
Digimon World Championship attempts to shake things up with some interesting ideas, but these changes leave the game repetitive and unexciting.
-
Digimon: World Championship feels a lot like the little handheld virtual pets that inspired it. While this is great for a trip down memory lane, it just doesn't work as a standalone game.
-
A great step up from the digital pets of old, and would be a good choice for the youngest of gamer demographics. Other than that, the game lacks any real gameplay value and is more a time-consuming and minimally enjoyable chore.
