    Chess Challenge! won't wow you right away, as its first impression is a poor one. But give it some time and give it some grace, and you'll be glad you gave it five bucks.

    Even taking a real chess board on the train with you would cause less frustration than waiting for the CPU to make up its mind or bringing a friend along for the adventure of repeatedly figuring out which piece is which.
