Nintendo Power2K's Carnival Games for Wii is a fun, pick-up-and-play party game that many enjoyed, but unfortunately the fun factor doesn't translate well to the DS. [Aug 2008, p.90]
-
Carnival Games for the NDS is a bust of a carnival. You're better off saving your cash and riding the teacups at the state fair with a friend. As lame as the teacups are, at least they bring people together and get you outside. That's much more than you can say for this DS title.
-
The only challenge comes from the occasionally imprecise controls.
-
It's short and uninteresting with any slight joy of a playing a good mini-game far outweighed by the frustration of playing the bad ones. Send this one to the bottom of the dunk tank.
-
A weak collection of badly implemented mini-games, you'd be better off paying out for a seaside Punch and Judy show than a session with Carnival Funfair Games.
-
There are far better mini-game compilations on the DS at the moment, with a lot more substance, style, and fun than this simple cash in on a successful party game.
