Technically it functions well and I came across few issues when playing. The touch screen on the DS serves the gameplay well. Arguably better than playing it on PC.
Given the fact that it's a port of essentially a low-end PC title, it is limited in its graphics and gameplay. It has very arcadey gameplay reminiscent of something like Diner Dash. You will progress through households with increased difficulty. These may introduce more kids, babies, etc.
Basically, kids will run around the house and mess it up, you have to pick up any existing messes while trying to keep the kids in time out (which is essentially you just knocking them to the ground lol) and get these tasks done before they get back up.
If there is a baby you need to do things like change its diaper, make bottles etc.
If there is laundry or trash laying around and you begin to pick it up you need to put it in the washing machine or throw it out to move onto a separate task.
If you get the house entirely picked up the day is over and you can put the kids in bed one by one. If you do this before the set bedtime (essentially just a time limit) you get a bonus.
That's the entire game. There's not much reason to revisit old levels other than completionism or trying to beat your high score. There's not much of a community surrounding this game. So there isn't much reason to revisit this at all.
If you find this game at a bargain and want to buy it as a surprise gift, or maybe for a casual gamer like an elderly or young relative it may be a good fit. Otherwise, I can't recommend the purchase outside curiosity or collection-sake.… Expand
