    I liked this game, i really did. But the problem was that it was easy to get through, in a few days i had completed all the races, and all though there is a fairly decent amount of cars to buy, there's not really much of a reason to buy them. Thats why i've marked it down. It's good, but lacking in some places.

    Buenos coches, con buen manejo y buenos escenarios. Pero la calidad es demasiado mala. Recomiendo que lo compres para psp, ya que es una versión muy superior. Igualmente, podrás disfrutarla si no te importa la calidad.

    Rather bizarrely, Gameloft made a complete mess of the sequel, making this version STILL the best racer on the DS, it's got a higher framerate, has decent and inoffensive music, and actually has a proper drift mechanic. The sequel - Oh dear. Asphalt 2 was clearly created with an EA games mentality, ridiculous handling, jerky framerate, utterly AWFUL music, and embarrassing Rather bizarrely, Gameloft made a complete mess of the sequel, making this version STILL the best racer on the DS, it's got a higher framerate, has decent and inoffensive music, and actually has a proper drift mechanic. The sequel - Oh dear. Asphalt 2 was clearly created with an EA games mentality, ridiculous handling, jerky framerate, utterly AWFUL music, and embarrassing sponsorship of the Pussycat Dolls (presumably for teenage virgins to exited about). The game mechanic has been completely wrecked, and the physics are like the Java phone games (crud). If you like driving games, you could do worse, just remember that this does not apply to the massively inferior Asphalt 2.… Expand

    This is my first race on the DS and it really got me hooked! The gameplay here is quite interesting, as for mobile racing in 2004. It is simple but addictive. There are many cars of various popular corporations, each car differs in characteristics and handling, there is a drift system, which, as for a mobile port, is very well developed.

    Of course, there are disadvantages. First of all,    This is my first race on the DS and it really got me hooked! The gameplay here is quite interesting, as for mobile racing in 2004. It is simple but addictive. There are many cars of various popular corporations, each car differs in characteristics and handling, there is a drift system, which, as for a mobile port, is very well developed.

    Of course, there are disadvantages. First of all, there are only 7 soundtracks. Of which 6 are good, and one is just disgusting, but they can be manually turned on during the race, whichever you want. But it gets boring very quickly, because there are not very many trails here either. Somewhere around 10, and in career mode you get a lot of races. The artificial intelligence of opponents is very poor, so competition was created at the expense of the architecture of the tracks themselves. For example, it is impossible to lose on the New York map, and it is impossible to win in Bogotá without a complete upgrade of the best car available + you are forced to buy certain cars to participate in further races, in fact forcing you to grind the same tournaments again and again.

    But to be honest, this is not a bad race for the DS. It's easy to play and pass an hour or two, so I don't regret playing it. Glory to Ukraine!    … Expand

    It simply seems rushed in certain areas and the whole game is a little on the short side.

    Asphalt Urban GT doesn't participate in much of the innovation that makes the DS special, but oddly enough, it's still a fun racer that offers some very cool multiplayer features.

    Gameloft managed to squeeze in a great graphic engine in the short amount of time it had with the hardware, but it clearly just couldn't fit a well-balanced racing game within that engine.
