Sitting down and reading about a puzzle game based around arithmetic may put some people off, but after giving this even just a short try will convert people instantly, forcing them to flex their brains more than they could imagine and proving to be much more fun that Brain Training.
-
On paper, maths might seem like a boring idea for a game, but this installment of the Art Style series has proved the skeptics wrong – it's just as good as Skip's previous efforts. It may be a little hard to get into at first, since you'll need to get used to fast flipping and combining of numbers, but when it clicks you will be entertained for quite a while. Yet another success for the Art Style games!
-
A neat number elimination puzzler, Art Style: CODE is a great example of how small and cheap downloadable games can expand your mind and fill your time.
-
Its strong focus on arithmetic (but very simple), together with the need to think quickly about spacial location, make Art Style: CODE an interesting proposal which can frighten players for its sobriety and learning curve.
-
Graphically Art Style: CODE is so simple that you will easily find a unique charm here. Similarly, all its mechanics works just fine, mixing typical elements of mind games with the speed and fluency of the most charismatic puzzle games.
-
A great little gem for all those who love maths puzzles.
-
My first impressions were not good, but after sitting down with the puzzler for an extensive gameplay session the game hooked me.
-
Official Nintendo Magazine UKIt's basic, but a solid puzzler. [June 2009, p.87]

The game is beautifully minimal and has the kind of difficulty curve that makes the best of such games so compelling.
