That one new mode, and the more budget-friendly starting MSRP of $19.99, makes this package a bit more worthwhile than last year’s first attempt. But it’s still, overall, a fairly mediocre experience and one that most DS owners can comfortably afford to skip.

AYS 2: Make the Grade is basically an updated version of the first game that adds a basic multiplayer function to the game. I think that oneAYS 2: Make the Grade is basically an updated version of the first game that adds a basic multiplayer function to the game. I think that one minor change adds much more playtime to the game.

Otherwise, the game is functionally identical to the first, Perhaps a couple of tweaks here and there.

The multiplayer, although a welcome addition disappoints. Only available as a hot-swap, one of the modes I guess you have to hit the trigger faster than the other play and whoever hits it firs gets to answer and then choose the next question. There are 2 different MP modes and they're almost identical.

I can still appreciate that minor addition and I think it warrants a slight score increase. I am curious to see what AYS 3.0 brings to the table.
