Do yourself a favor. Go to Wal-Mart and walk into the fish section of the store. Stand there and stare at the tanks for oh... 15 minutes, tops. Do that and I promise you will have derived all the joy that can be squeezed from this worthless title.

You canAquarium by DS is a neat little simulation game that does an alright job at being just that, a simulation. The gameplay is simple. You can customize your tank, the music, which is pretty chill, reminds me of that 90s r&b oceanic piano music and is somewhat relaxing.

The multiplayer consists basically of trading fish with other players. Which I'm not sure why this is even a feature, because you can just plop any fish you want at any time into your tank. Other than adjusting your tank there doesn't seem to be much consequence for your actions.

Some fish are locked, but I don't see any clear objectives to unlock them. No currency, nothing to research no noticeable achievements. The game has as much gameplay as a nice screensaver but has the misfortune of being limited to the DS screen and hardware. It may be a relaxing application, but it isn't an engaging title. I wouldn't call it a game, it's more inline with a piece of software or a customizable screen saver.
