Animal Planet Emergency Vets is a mini-game compilation that fails to deliver.

For a game released in '09 the graphics that come with the game are rather unimpressive as goes with the music which has that grainy, low-quality compressed sound to it.

However, it is worth noting that you or the child you plan to purchase the game for doesn't care much for graphics or the music if you or they are interested in taking care of animals and tasks regarding veterinarian work. So how does it deliver on this front?..

Well again, it's a bit underwhelming. It is a mini-game compilation through and through but even falls flat when doing so. The games just feel too basic and aren't that fun. Perhaps for a young child (5-9) they may reap some entertainment out of them, but I can't recommend this to any adult. You'd have more fun playing the Super Mario 64 DS or New Super Mario Bros. mini-games that came bundled in.

This rating is a bit weird as it is a bit low but in an extraordinary niche situation where you have a child who is a die-hard vet at heart, and is playing a DS and sees this game, and the game is priced for less than $5, then sure, go ahead and buy it for them it may give them a few hours of fun every once and a while.
