n-Revolution Magazine UKThis is so sugary it'll make you puke...unless you're a ten-year-old girl, and then it's brilliant. [Issue#17, p.92]
-
Nintendo GamerNo longevity here, but it'll prove bewitching to anyone whose idea of fun is cooing over big-nosed dog photographs on a screen the size of a hamster. [Jan 2008, p.55]
-
The cute animals are a starting point, but they're not worthwhile just by themselves.
-
While Animal Paradise’s biggest downfall is a lacking camera mechanic of any kind, other minor issues definitely plagued the game as well. The mini-games were repetitive and melancholy more than they were enjoyable.
-
In all honesty, this game is kind of misleading and has a great loss of potential.
-
All in all, the only thing Animal Paradise has going for it is that it contains amusing animals and various cute Hanadeka photos. It misses the boat on potentially being a fun Pokemon Snap clone, and instead settles for being a vastly inferior Nintendogs clone.
-
As I mentioned earlier, Animal Paradise is geared toward younger kids, but this title will only keep them occupied for a couple of hours at most because even kids are going to see through the paper-thin amount of content in this game.
