    A well thought out and executed DSiware game, Amoebattle is well worth the cost of admission.

    Amoebattle is a pretty solid gaming experience that's unfortunately let down by an almost painful soundtrack, as well as a tendency to pad out levels in a way that feels artificial. If you can get beyond those things, however, you'll find a well-controlled and intuitive experience that brings out the best of the RTS genre without over-complicating it.

    Although Amoebattle fills a bit of a gap in the DS library by being one of the few competent real-time strategy games on the system, and although it's certainly a strong title in comparison to many other DSiWare games, it falls just short of being a title of easy recommendation.

    Amoebattle was shockingly fun for a cheap DSi RTS. I'll be honest, some levels are a little annoying (for example, a covert-op style missionAmoebattle was shockingly fun for a cheap DSi RTS.     I really enjoy this game. For a cheap RTS, there are lots of hours of fun to be had here. A lot of people have criticized the music but II really enjoy this game. For a cheap RTS, there are lots of hours of fun to be had here. A lot of people have criticized the music but I don't mind it. I find the game pretty challenging and fun to play through.

    It is single player but I am fine with that since previous RTS attempts on 3DS have been complete failures. The campaign is fun. Without multiplayer or skimish modes though, there isn't much replay value. There is still value in the game and I am a fan because the single player is quite good. I hope that there will be a enough interest that a sequel can be developed with multiplayer and skimish.    … Full Review »
