This game is delightfully bad. This is a game based on a movie, based on a novel. The movie was pretty mediocre according to the reviews (although I am curious to watch it now). So apparently, the game does an even quicker job summarizing the story than the movie does. At that it does a much worse job of it and the dialogue spoken is so bad it's good. The music is so bad… It's bad. TheThis game is delightfully bad. This is a game based on a movie, based on a novel. At that it does a much worse job of it and the dialogue spoken is so bad it's good. The music is so bad… It's bad. The tracks last for half a minute and are very grating. The gameplay is tediously easy and at times glitchy. For a game that wants you to be a spy, it has ZERO stealth mechanics. The game is horribly short and can be beaten in like 5 hours. There is an upgrade system, but it doesn’t even make a difference to gameplay. The only where the game shines is with the graphics. Wow. For a 2006 game based off a movie, this has some impressive graphics that rival and surpass the highest-end N64 games. If only they put as much effort into the rest of the game as they did the graphics. Expand

  1. There are a lot of good ideas in Alex Rider: Stormbreaker, but the main game is too clumsy for us to recommend it.

Cool gadgets don't excuse the fact that most of this game is bland and repetitive stuff. [Sept 2006, p.68]

But the basic gameplay is flawed in every way, especially during the unresponsive fight sequences. [Oct. 2006, p.92]
