Jan 14, 2022One of the most polished and well made fighting games ive ever experienced, this game is addictive when you get to learn it and play against other people.
Sadly the roster is not as good but still decent enough. -
Feb 19, 2020Amazing sprites, phenomenal gameplay. Iconic music and overall the most technically impressive fighting game I've played.
-
Feb 2, 2020Considered one of the best and hardest fighting game ever and I can't agree more. As the game is unbalanced, the amazing parry system prevents that and makes every character winnable.

Nov 18, 2021Easily the best 2D fighting game I've ever seen or played. Almost no negatives, with clearly defined archetypes, great character ideas, stages, music, etc. Even though its aesthetic is slightly inferior compared to 2nd Impact, it has a clear artistic direction (unlike 5). 10/10, no doubt.

Sep 14, 2022This is one of the best fighting games of all time. very technical, and very hard to get into, though It's very rewarding when you learn the fundamentals (eg Footsies, Anti-airs, Confirms, etc.), with one of the prettiest sprites of any fighting game, and an amazing soundtrack. 10/10 one of the best fighting games ever.

Apr 30, 2023One of the best fighting games of all time, the difficulty is very hard, the hitbox very cool, introduces overlook mechanics in the genre, the music is pretty cool, the animation is awesome.

#14 Most Discussed Dreamcast Game of 2000

CNET GamecenterWhile weaker in the graphics department than its predecessor, this game still delivers punch.
-
Although it doesn't have the insane special moves or high character count of "Marvel vs Capcom 2," it does offer a tight gameplay engine for skilled fighters, and wonderfully smooth graphics to complete the package.

AllDreamcastReally meant for diehard fans of the series only. The rest of us can probably do without this one.
