    thoughts on Best Day Ever?
    Imo it was overhyped. It wasn't even a special, not even 15 minutes. Just a regular episode and Nickelodeon had this HUGE marketing promo for it?

    Not only my favorite Sonic game but also has my favorite video game soundtrack of all time. Metal Harbor, Green Forest, and Live and Learn all incredible.

    Sonic Adventure 2 does a few good things that a sequel should do. The gameplay introduces new mechanics, harder levels, a larger plot, better production, and the game reinforces all this with ranks and missions. Unfortunately, Sonic Adventure 2 also does a few things a bad sequel would do. Everyone controls worse and certain mechanics can often clash with one another (ie the lightspeedSonic Adventure 2 does a few good things that a sequel should do. The gameplay introduces new mechanics, harder levels, a larger plot, better production, and the game reinforces all this with ranks and missions. Unfortunately, Sonic Adventure 2 also does a few things a bad sequel would do. Everyone controls worse and certain mechanics can often clash with one another (ie the lightspeed dash and the bounce ability). Returning mechanics are a functional step down from the game prior. There are three gameplay formats but the player no longer decides which one they want to play specifically which makes adapting to the control changes and new mechanics an unnecessary challenge. The kart racing segments function poorly and did not need to be included. Despite this, the returning mechanics don't take away from some of the new ones. For example, the new grinding mechanic does a great job shaking up the gameplay and opens up fun new challenges and unique level design. The new drill dive that the Treasure Hunting characters now have is snappy and adds flow to their movement. Even though they function poorly, the gravity gimmicks of the final stages are integrated well and were likely innovative in their time.… Expand

    This Is Easily One Of My Favorites Games Of All Time! The Story The Characters Its All Good... I really Hope This Game Gets More Positive Reviews Because It Is Easily One Of The Best Sonic Games Ever!

    The best sonic game ever created in my opinion. It is what every sonic should have been but wasn't. If i would give it a actual score it would be 9.8 and it is because i really don't like the level songs with lyrics they are really cheesy and stupid. But anything else is great, literally i don't have anything else to complain about the game

    Oh boy. This game is the exact reason i am such a huge Sonic fan to this day. Everything i love about Sonic the Hedgehog is here. The amazing rock and variety in it's music, the ambitious story, the fast level design, and the fast and fun gameplay. Sonic and shadow are the best obviously. I love the focus on fast pace level design. The other playstyles do have some flawed levels, but stillOh boy. This game is the exact reason i am such a huge Sonic fan to this day. Everything i love about Sonic the Hedgehog is here. The amazing rock and variety in it's music, the ambitious story, the fast level design, and the fast and fun gameplay. Sonic and shadow are the best obviously. I love the focus on fast pace level design. The other playstyles do have some flawed levels, but still enjoyable ones like pumpkin hill and security hall, misson street, and cosmic wall.     I have been a Sonic the Hedgehog fan since I was 4 years old, being born at the tail end of the 90’s and I have played my fair share of Sonic games good and bad. I am not lying when I say that Sonic Adventure 2 is a good game. Not perfect, but still enjoyable. Pretty much everything it has to offer is very solid.     Best sonic ever, nothing more to say, the only bad thing its the rouge/knuckles gameplay but with the sonic/shadow, tails/eggman gameplay makes a great balance

    Definitely the one of the best sonic games my only complaint is the space levels with rouge and knuckles other than that the story is one of the best the characters are great

The story is fantastic and the levels always feel like they serve the story, and not the other way around. I wish they toned down the Tails/Eggman levels, but that’s really the only major issue I have. There is a level of jank in movement, especiallySonic Adventure 2 is a blast from start to finish.     Absolute perfection of a game, Great visuals (For the time) Memorable story, The introduction to two iconic characters, shadow the hedgehog and rouge the bat, has great level design, has a Fantastic Soundtrack

    Everything about this game is amazing: the story, the gameplay, the music. It's not perfect, but it's great. And this was Shadow the hedgehogs debute game.
    This is also home to one of the most iconic stages in sonic history: City Escape.

    this is the best sonic game i have played the only problems are the camera and the tails and egg-man levers with death pits and the fact that if you still have rings you can still die and the final story were if you get a game over you have to do every thing over but it is still the best.

    Sonic Adventure 2 is a great addition to the Adventure series with it's top tier soundtrack and story still being great to this day. Some aspects show it's age and the gameplay has it's weaker points making it not as SA1. But it's still a great title that with enough playtime can get most sonic fans and gamers to enjoy themselves.

    For starters, the story is absolutely the best in the series. Shadow's arc was done so well, his rivalry with sonic was amazing, it has a lot of amazing moments, and the ending is so memorable. The level design is also some of the best with a bunch of alternate routes, engaging gameplay and great set pieces. The only problem I    This is an easy top 5 sonic game for a lot of reasons

    The music is iconic and probably the 3rd best sonic soundtrack. Live and Learn being probably the BEST song to come out of this series. Metal Harbor also is just amazing

    The chao garden is super relaxing and cute. I never really got super into it, but if they put it in a future game, then i might revisit it more

    yes i like this game, if it would have the combination with an little open zone lobby like in DX it would be a 10 but the levels are great exspecially Knuckles and yes good games ya know

    The graphics in SA2 are truly next generation material, and Sonic's stages have never been faster or more intense.
