  1. The pacing of the game may have you dozing off at times, but with a little persistence you will find one of the most underrated games of 2001.
  2. Beautiful graphics, huge lakes, multiple lures, multiple characters, weather effects, what else could you want in a fishing game?
  3. A model example of what sequels should be. By taking an already great game mechanic and changing it ever so slightly, this sequel truly adds to the fishing experience--instead of just treading water.
  4. 83
One of the most complete fishing video games that any gamer can get hooked into.
  5. While it is unfortunate that there is no online play or tournament feature included, the game still provides plenty of depth and fun for the whole family.
  6. Check it out if you love to fish, or if you just want to spend a lazy afternoon with a beer in one hand and your rod in the other.
  7. 50
The sequel to one of the best fishing games ever unfortunately delivers nothing but a fishy stench instead of a prize catch-of-the-day.
  8. Next Generation Magazine

More realistic, but not more fun. [Dec 2001, p.112]

With the rod...possibly the best game 4 dreamcast.

Finally...I can fish during those long winter days. A threat indeed, great graphics, hard enough to keep you interested.
