I spent a lot of time on RT2 and despite old graphics, it's better that RT3.
That's because RT2 is more challenging than RT3.
But still could me more demanding :D

It's definetely not a very good game, despite very positive comments made by fanboys. Actually couldn't recommend this one except maybe for collectors. Expand

This game is still great to play.

I played all the Railroad Tycoon's when they first came out but recently decided to play this again (including the Second Century campaign that I hadn't played previously). Had an absolute hoot. Had an absolute hoot. Although the graphics are slightly dated, there was a few issues getting it working in Windows 10 and some of the Second Century campaign is so tough that you need a little luck, the game is a compelling joy to play. I'm not sure I've ever tried to go for a completionist walk through of a game before but I enjoyed this so much I was determined to get the Gold medal on every mission and ended up sinking a serious amount of time into it again.

If I'd scored this back when it first game out 20 years ago it would have been a 9, but still a great 8 today.
