Without a doubt, the online experience with Ooga Booga is by far, the best I've experienced on the Dreamcast... yes, even better than "NFL 2K1" and "Phantasy Star Online."
-
If you're a recluse, you must get online access, as the online play is amazingly enjoyable.
-
It's a perfect game to snap out when you have friends over, since it's quite easy to get into and the online play is as sharp as it can be, providing players with an almost-flawless online experience.
-
The graphics are smooth and clean, the controls are tight, and the characters are pretty funny. It won't blow your mind, but it's good fun while it lasts.
-
For Dreamcast gamers who like to pilot their systems solo, Ooga Booga just seems like one long, boring trial.
-
Like "Mario Party," "Bomberman," and "Super Smash Bros." before it, the amusement level in this ridiculous frenzy increases exponentially with the number of people in the room.
-
Next Generation MagazineIts a surefire blast any time you can get two or more people around the TV. [Dec 2001, p.112]
-
Judged as a whole, hardcore audiences could certainly do much better.
