Dreamcast HQThere's no real "collision detection". If you take a turn in the air, you bounce off that magical invisible wall and land right on your wheels with no damage.
-
Dreamcast.netHas everything needed for a great game, but unfortunately fails to produce in the end.
-
Music is a generic sampling of the pop-punk found in many games today, but you won't hear much of it, because it's obscured by the incessant, annoying buzz of motorbike engines.
-
Daily RadarA poor graphics engine with bad animation ruins any realism that might have been conveyed by the motion-capturing of professional riders.
-
But said frame rate is so bad that not only does it distract, it actually affects the gameplay by ruining your timing -- taking turns is often a case of guesswork as the game jerks along at somewhere between 5 and 10 frames per second (that is not an exaggeration).
