    Nothing short of epic.

What looks like a much-too-cute adventure on the outside, turns out to be one of the edgiest and most creative platformers on the Dreamcast.
  3. It's all fun and cute until you bust a cap in a bear's ass and watch him wiggle and die.

Solid characters, cool environments, tight control, and a funny storyline, Fur Fighters comes highly recommended.

Not only is it full of flashy graphics, great music and loads of action, it's actually full of wonderfully intuitive fun.

What sets "Fur Fighters" apart from the average action-adventure title is its excellent control, interesting puzzles and wonderful characters.
  7. A great game whose worst flaw is that it's dumbed down just a bit too much for its own good.

Bizarre Creations obviously took the gameplay very sriously, but tossed in enough humor to keep a smile on your face, at least until you realize you're completely lost and start desperately wandering around trying to figure out what to do.

Between finding all the necessary items to clear a stage, laughing at all their jokes, and fluffmatching, you'll keep busy here.
  10. Do yourself a favor and definitely check out these furry fighters as they prove that cuteness can be deadly.

The only beef I have with the game is the sheer size of the levels makes it confusing and tends to drag out the gameplay. Aside from that I was very pleased with this game.
  12. Prepare to turn a blind eye to some graphical problems though, and for God's sake, kill that music!
  13. Daily Radar

The two biggest flaws in the game, without a doubt, are the camera angle and the multiplayer level.
  14. CNET Gamecenter

A surprisingly solid game lies underneath the cute veneer, offering tight control and solid game design.
  15. A silly little action shooter that takes a smidgen of brainpower and a tongue placed firmly in cheek to fully appreciate.
  16. If you're after a good single-player game, rent "Fur Fighters" first to see if you can look past the game's camera problems.
  17. It's nagging qualm falls in an area of utter frustration, but when compared to the great visuals, crazy multi-player action, wide range of characters and all the other positives, there is no doubt that "Fur Fighters" is an entertaining title.

A great mix of platforming, puzzling and shooting with some top notch creative level design. The controls are a mixed bag with the four options not being massively intuitive but that was more down to the lack of shoulder buttons on The Dreamcast which was fixed in the PS2 version but still doesn't feel massively intuitive. I found Super Spy 2 to be the easiest personally. Still, I have no idea why this or any other iteration of this game has no speedrunning community whatsoever. I find it baffling considering there are way worse games getting a lot more attention. Check this out, it's aged very well... The end of the New Quack world trade center level might raise a few eyebrows tough! Full Review »
