May 26, 2014This game does, indeed, require mastery and skill to even be completed, and this might take a lot of training before this can be achieved.
-
Mar 29, 2014Aptly named and well worth the wait, Yumi's Odd Odyssey is an absolute joy.
-
May 8, 2014Like its predecessors, this is most definitely an under-the-radar, cult title which is unlikely to be troubling the charts – which is a damn shame as it features a fresh take on how a platform game can be played, something that almost becomes an art-form in the right hands.

Apr 7, 2014As challenging as it is strange, Yumi's Odd Odyssey seems doomed to obscurity thanks both to its aesthetics and its quiet release onto eShop. It deserves notice, though. It's the first U.S. release of a long-running cult series from Japan, and – more importantly – it's loads of challenging fun.
-
Mar 29, 2014I'd only recommend Yumi's Odd Odyssey to the most dedicated platforming fans out there. Purists will love it, but the $30 price tag is going to be too rich for nearly everyone's blood. In a sale though, you can't go wrong picking this one up if you have an affinity towards the tried-and-true grappling hook.
