Feb 3, 2013A game that I truly did not see coming. Fans of surreal FMV and/or match three puzzle games should check it out.

Jan 20, 2013Like Crashmo, I'd rather play Tokyo Crash Mobs than just about any smartphone game.
-
Jan 18, 2013Still, I have to underscore the way Tokyo Crash Mobs maintains a truly unique sense of gameplay and aesthetic. Sure it's kind of stupid and not all that innovative, but it helps to define the burgeoning Nintendo eShop as a place to find wacky, nonsensical games that are willing to take risks.

Jan 18, 2013One of the weirdest games to ever wear the Nintendo name.

Jan 29, 2013In the end, Tokyo Crash Mobs is a good puzzle game that is both helped and hurt by its oddball presentation. On the one hand, the use of people and the off-the-wall cut scenes bookending each level give you some motivation to progress even if the rewards are strange. On the other hand, the presentation can make it difficult to figure out where your person is going to land, potentially ruining a scenario and making you lose the match.

Jan 17, 2013Tokyo Crash Mobs isn't a profound game, but it is fun as long as you can get past the occasionally frustrating controls.
