    It's a good Mario game. The 3D is incredible as it is one of the few games in the catalog that forces you to use it and does it in a good way, but the difficulty is very low.

    Un muy buen juego de plataformas de la mitica saga de super mario. No tiene desperdicio, pero... La dificultad en este título me ha parecido muy baja, no voy a decir que conseguir el 100% del juego es facil pero tampoco es imposible

    Best 3ds 3d platformer for sure. Great visuals, a long post game and everyting you would expect from 3d Mario game on the go. Can't compare to Galaxy games, but still great experience.

    I had a great time playing 3D Land, at first I was reluctant about the game since the 1st half is way too easy, very fun, but very easy, then comes the 2nd half and the difficulty turns to almost classic Super Mario. The music is good but not memorable and so is the stage design, they almost feel like leftovers of another Super Mario games but its just a theory.

    If you know Super Mario games then you know how is this, and 3D Land while is not really a classic, it doesn't disappoint.    … Expand

    nos encontramos con un juego que quiebra lo que es Mario Bros y nos lleva a un mudo en 3D cambiando la formula de toda la vida, la cual se acopla de gran forma con la consola pudiéndose sacar el máximo provecho de esta, un juego increíble que sigue con la idea original pero es mas cercano a un Mario Sunshine

    The best platformer on the 3DS that was released during the time of hot garbage like Asphalt 3D. Gameplay is great, but the story is the same thing we have seen before. With massive replay-ability, this, ladies and gentleman, is the game that has saved the Nintendo 3DS.

    Despite it is way too easy globally, this is a really nice Mario experience with one of the most acute level design of the series from my point of view. Be aware it's gone through in about 6 hours.

    Its a beautiful game, it has amazing graphics, cool power-ups and a great soundtrack but there way too much repetitive gameplay in the special worlds

    The title that put the 3DS on the map. The game had some nice level design and fun powerups, but felt too short for how much it costs, even with the added special worlds.

    Really good platformer. Easy to pick and play. Some levels are repetitive and boring especially at the end of the game. But anyway game is pretty solid.

The 3D is a cool effect, and you know exactly where your jumps are gonna land, and if you don't like the 3D, turn it off, your only disadvantage of playing in 2D is missing your jumps every now and then. Music is real catchy. My only problem is like I said, this game isn't too memorable. The levels seem the same in every way except level design. NothingGreat game, but not too memorable. The 3D is a cool effect, and you know exactly where your jumps are gonna land, and if you don't like the 3D, turn it off, your only disadvantage of playing in 2D is missing your jumps every now and then.     I bought this game for £10 in 2021, knowing that there was something good to this game. For that price, this was an incredible get. Fun and moreish with levels that are a breeze to complete. The main game is short and digestible to complete, but if you want more, the post-game is essentially a whole new game's worth of levels! Plus, you can unlock Luigi after Special World 1!     Mario 3D Land is a fun Mario game. It isn't particularly memorable, but it's a fun game nonetheless. I mean it's 3D Mario, how can you mess it up? It's also in actual 3D which is kind of cool. The 3D function on the 3DS was always kind of cool, but who cares? Anyway, one thing every 3D Mario gets right every time is the controls.     Es muy divertido, un plataformeo simple y consigue llevar Super Mario Bros 3 a Un mundo en 3d, lo cual lo hace mucho mejor. El único problema es la falta de ítems y un multijugador local. Por eso no supera a 3DWorld.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Man, even my least favorite 3D Mario games are still really good!

    Super Mario 3D Land manages to successfully combine the 2D and 3D aspects of Mario games. It's a nice new take on the old formulas, and it'll surely give off something fresh to 2D and 3D Mario fans alike. Conceptually, that's pretty much it for this game, but that alone manages to make this game really fun.

    Most of the time, the level design is definitely fun, albeit not too memorable. Though I really like the Clock Tower stages, those were really creative. The Super Leaf is back, and it's a little underwhelming that you can't fly but can slowly descend. However, I think that this change complements the level design well overall, and would otherwise be a broken game if done differently. There's also the Boomerang Flower, which just allows you to shoot boomerangs like a Boomerang Bro. Nothing too special, but neat nonetheless. I also love that the collectibles returned in this game in the form of Star Medals. Those make the levels far more interesting, and gives it more replayability.

    Once you beat the game, you gain access to another 8 worlds with altered versions of existing levels and new ones altogether. You even get to play as Luigi now! I love the levels where you have a very strict time limit and you can collect timers to increase it. You can also run from the Cosmic Clones which mimic your every move and follow closely behind.

    A big downside for me would be that this is one of the easiest Super Mario games I've played. While I said the Super Leaf complements the level design nicely, it has its moments where it's extremely OP, and can be used to bypass every level almost effortlessly. I also really hate the Invincibility Leaf. This power-up just tells you "hmm it seems like you suck at this game, guess you need to be invincible for every level you can't do yourself" Seriously, you can take advantage of every level using this thing! I also wished this game had a bit more inspiration and that there was additional content outside the main adventure.

    However, Super Mario 3D Land does more than enough to stand out from its 3D predecessors. If you're looking for a fun little Mario game to pass the time with, I can recommend this one!    … Expand

The game can be very basic throughout, and if you want a more fleshed out and unique Mario game then try sunshine or one of the galaxy games, but this is a must for your 3DS collection sooner or later.… Expand

    Pros

    - The 3D effect is very well implemented. There is a great use of obstacles to take advantage of this 3D effect. For example, at one part, there is a thick spear that shoots out towards you. With the 3D effect it looks amazing.

    - The platforming is classic with new twists incorporated from previous Mario titles.

    - There are various types of power ups you can attain, which include takooni Mario, fireball Mario, and invincibility Mario.

    - There are pipes that lead to coins and other goodies taken from Super Mario bros.

    - The game positions the camera at different angles in certain levels to enhance the 3D experience. For example, in a level, the camera is positioned at the top so things appear to bounce up in front of you.

    - You get to play as Luigi after main quest completion, he can jump higher.

    - 8 full worlds with a higher difficulty (which the game really needed) after main quest completion.

    Cons:

    - At some points, it is difficult to tell exactly where you will land from a jump because of the 3D effect. This can be troublesome when facing enemies or platforms that move around

    - The game is very easy. The only challenge given, is the special levels you get after you beat the game. The special levels should have been the difficulty for the first part of the game.

    - The game offers unlimited invincibility if you happen to fail a level too many times. I disagree with this feature. The developers should let the player learn from their mistakes and overcome the obstacles on their own. Since the main quest is really easy already.

    - Having the game make you hunt for star coins near the end is more tedious than fun, since some of the star coins are hidden in ridiculous places. Not only that, but you must reach the end of the level again in order for the star coins to register after you have collected it.

    - Too much revisiting the same places. First you complete the 8 worlds, then you complete 8 "special" worlds, which is the same as the first 8 worlds with more obstacles and enemies. Then finally, you have to revisit and beat almost all of the worlds in order to obtain enough star coins to unlock the last level.    … Expand

    This game is pretty great! It's the original 2D Mario games in a 3D form where you carefully platform to the flagpole! The level design is great and both Mario & Luigi are very fun to play as! The only issues I have with this game is that some of the star coins are pretty annoying to get, there are no level themes so all the levels are just random which means after you play a level youThis game is pretty great! The only real difference with Super Mario 3D land is you get more head-aches playing, less of a sense of accomplishment....and you can throw a boomerang, which Nintendo has made as redundant as a weaponized boomerang would be in real life.
    After a fair bit of thought, I really don't understand what market Nintendo was aiming for. The    Its a Mario game. You've been playing them for 25 years.     Mario is back! In a classic Mario-fashion you jump your way througheight worlds, where you battle goombas, koopas and the main meaniehimself, Bowser. This game is never particularly difficult, butgradually advanced to a challenge that feels just perfect. Fun, varied and guaranteed to make you smile.

    The Nintendo 3DS has had a slow start, but I feel this marks one of the first important games to come out on this system. I can't say it's a must buy, but is really close for those who have already picked up a 3DS. The amount of content in this game along with the varying degree of gameplay makes this one of the best Mario games I've played in a while.
