Dec 13, 2011Pyramids does a great job of nailing that "I can totally do it this time!" feeling that games such as Super Meat Boy and Bit.Trip Runner excelled at. It's not quite up to the same lofty heights as those games, but it is a worthwhile addition to your 3DS library, especially since it's an excellent game to plunk five minutes into when you have downtime.

Nov 9, 2011The only annoyance is that it takes so long to restart a level, especially when it's so easy to fail. So forget the 3D - this is everything a good puzzle game should be. Simple to play, addictive, challenging and a little bit frustrating.
-
Oct 29, 2011Pyramids has good longevity, but even with some new features in the course of the game, it's a tiring game. Its price, however, is not a burden. You cannot say the same about the difficulty, that in more advanced levels, greatly complicates the life of the player. For those willing to face this challenge, Pyramids is a good choice.
-
Oct 28, 2011Pyramids isn't the most original game and nothing about it will surprise or amaze you too much, but it's done well overall and a good value for its asking price.
-
Oct 25, 2011The 3D is almost inconsequential, but the result is a tough, well-constructed puzzle title with plenty of content.
-
Oct 20, 2011Pyramids is a clever puzzler at times, but more often than not it's too leaden to let you fully appreciating what it has to offer.

Nintendo GamerDec 7, 2011A C64 platform game in 3DS clothes, and not very convincing ones at that. [Dec 2011, p.79]

Games Master UKDec 17, 2011All 3D does is push heinous graphics closer to our eyes. You'd be safer rubbing dog poo into them. [Jan 2012, p.93]
