May 1, 2011PES 2011 offers slick gameplay and striking 3D yet is let down by having no online mode and some sloppy, minor omissions. Still, for football fans, PES 3D offers a lot of mileage until the expected 2012 edition.

Apr 20, 2011PES 2011 3D is a great first attempt on the 3DS, with the slick controls carrying over swimmingly. For next year's inevitable release, we're hoping to see some online features, single-cart local play, some stat-tracking and a few extra modes that use the 3D capabilities to their fullest.
-
Apr 20, 2011PES 2011 3DS is already a good game with identity and reveals success in adapting to 3DS, a more powerful system.
-
Apr 17, 2011It's one of the better handheld soccer games and the Master League mode is impressive, but it lacks content and the AI is problematic.
-
Apr 13, 2011A good soccer game that makes an intelligent use of the 3D screen, but we miss the online and Become a Legend modes.
-
Apr 12, 2011It's a very good soccer game, but it could have been a great one with just a little more work on Konami's part.
-
Apr 11, 2011It's still PES at its portable best, a shame for the big lack of game modes and online multiplayer.
-
Apr 6, 2011Most handheld sports games (and launch ones, at that) have a hard time presenting gamers with a compelling feature set or satisfactory gameplay experience. Pro Evo 2011 for the 3DS goes some way toward alleviating that problem, but in the process comes up with new ones all its own.
-
Mar 30, 2011The 3D adds much more than you'd think to an already pleasingly deep version of the beautiful game, but it's a shame there's not enough content to back it up.
-
Mar 30, 2011A great benchmark for future footie games to beat. The full commentary, slick graphics and deep Master League make this a console quality game and by far the best handheld footie experience you can buy.
-
Mar 28, 2011A decent football game where the action and the balls feel just right. The camera should have been better, though.
-
Mar 26, 2011Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 3D plays a great game of football but feels bare when it comes to features and game modes.
-
Mar 26, 2011Football fans desperate for some 3DS sports action will find a game that plays as well as its big brothers, yet must be warned that this is definitely akin to a 'light' edition.
-
Mar 24, 2011While it occasionally feels lumbering, and is starting to show its age now – especially when set alongside the flexibility of PES and FIFA on home consoles – the thrill of netting a vital goal is as great as ever because you know you've earned it.
-
Mar 24, 2011The 3D looks pretty smart, but this is the same old PES I've played many, many times before. It's still a smart game of football, but as with a number of 3DS launch games, it's not making the most of the hardware and doesn't really offer anything new.
-
Mar 23, 2011Possibly the most impressive use of 3D amongst all the launch games, and despite some obvious gripes a good solid football sim to boot.
-
Mar 23, 2011PES 2011 3D is a typical launch title, that practically begs for a sequel. The base is strong, but on a lot of points, unrefined. From the very get go you'll be able to tell that more development time would have benefited this game in many ways, but for now, it's a nice taste of whatever awaits us in the future.
-
May 12, 2011It's slow. It's low scoring. And it's difficult to pick up. In that, it's likely a soccer fan's dream.
-
May 8, 2011Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 3D is a solid footballing experience lacking in ambition, flair and online multiplayer. Better luck next time, lads.
-
Apr 7, 2011Finally a portable football game that stands on it's own to feet. The 3D effect is excellent, and this game gives you hours of footballing fun on the 3DS.
-
Apr 4, 2011The core gameplay in Pro Evo 2011 3D is enjoyable, but it's constantly failed by the rest of the cart's fundamentals. Even with the game's limitations and shortsighted exclusions of some modes, the few options available to customize your experience makes for one of the best portable soccer games on the market. That may not be saying much, though.
-
Mar 29, 2011Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 3D nails the on-pitch action but lets itself down with a limited feature set. If you absolutely have to play a 3D football game this is currently your only option, but be aware of all the missteps such a title carries with it.
-
Mar 24, 2011This PES on 3DS shows interesting things, but is undoubtedly thrown on the market a little bit early... The content here is quite small, and there is no online functions. The potential is there, but we already know that the "complete game" will be there next year! As usual...
-
Apr 12, 2011If you want to use the nicest looking 3D viewpoints you lose the defensive controls, making Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 3D practically impossible to play. But if you can live with the regular tv camera you at least get an average football game without a lot of content.
