    Surprisingly fun game. I was a bit skeptical at first, but I bought it anyway, and have already spent a few hours on it. It's got a nice little twist on puzzle games of this sort since you get to catch Pokemon. And there's a LOT of them. Plus it does get perfectly hard at times, which brings a good change of pace. Will recommend.

    Pokémon Battle Trozei is mostly similar to the mobile game, "Puzzles and Dragons." You match pokemon icons on the bottom screen to attack (and ultimately capture) a pokemon on the top screen. To fully elaborate on Pokémon battle trozei, here's a list of the pros and cons.

    pros: + very simple controls. It takes 1-2 minutes to learn how to play this game. + all pokemon from generation    Pokémon Battle Trozei is mostly similar to the mobile game, "Puzzles and Dragons."     + menu and interface isn't cluttered.

    -No 3D functionality.
    -No online multiplayer (only local)
    -Not much innovation. Nothing new has been brought to the table.
    -7.99 is a little expensive considering similar games are free.

    Overall, Pokémon Trozei is a fun and simple game, though its price and lack of innovation will be a turn-off for some gamers. 7/10    … Expand

    This is a typical bejeweled feel game but with Pokémon. Its NOT a bad game as it plays VERY well. Making chains best feature is that with the right combo, the game becomes a match 2 game for a limited time and its easy to make that combo over and over......

    This game is very fast-paced and fun! It's not too difficult, and most can enjoy it! The artwork is very cool and there is more strategy in this game then at first glance! If you have some extra eShop money laying around, get this game!

    An addictive, unique, fun, frantic, enjoyable and accessible fusion of Pokémon and Bejeweled/Tetris style gameplay. Not the greatest game you will ever play but a good title for your 3DS collection.

    The game is quite fun for those who enjoy games such as Candy Crush and Bejeweled. Pokemon Battle Trozei is fun and fast paced and provides a challenge for any who wish to earn the best ranking on each level. The controls are very easy to master, yet the game still provides a tough challenge. Never have I felt more encouraged to finally catch 'em all!

    One would think that with Pokémon Battle Trozei (or "Link Battle" in Europe) standing in the tradition of Pokémon Puzzle League and Pokémon Puzzle Challenge and it now incorporating battles and catching mechanics, it would surely be a must-have. Turns out it's far from that.

    It plays like a mix of Puzzle League and Bejeweled.     It plays like a mix of Puzzle League and Bejeweled. It more or less chooses the most lenient rules from both games which makes for a very loose experience. There is a small difficulty spike, but overall the game is insultingly easy. The gameplay gets outright random when it comes to if a combo connects, especially when you get into the Match-2 combo mode. It has an extremely limited amount of modes (namely two: Singleplayer and Multiplayer) and the gameplay within those modes is stale, it doesn't really change no matter how far you progress.
    The presentation is also surprisingly lacking. The Pokémon for example don't give off their trademark voices.

    Can't really recommend this to anyone. Even (or maybe especially) Pokémon fans will be disappointed.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This Is My Update Of My Original One Which Was When It Was New, And I Was Really Halfway Through The Game. The game Does Still Have The Charm It Had Before, Though This Game Is Pulling A Final Fantasy Story Wise, Because It's Not Related To The Original DS Game. It's Story Is Really: Your A Random Guy, And Since Your To Lazy To Buy PokeBalls, You Use A Fancy Match 3 Tablet To Catch Pokemon. I Feel This Game Is The Reason Why Gamefreak Reintroduced The "Gotta Catch Em All" Catchphrase, As That Is Really Your Goal. It Isn't Required, But It Does Give You Special Bonus Levels (That Are 20X More Difficult Than The Levels In That area. There Are 13 Areas: 10 Story Levels, 1 Optional Level, And 2 After Game Levels. The Chibi Appearances Are Still Cute, But I Do Find It Weird That In The Credits The Show All The Secret Pokemon From Each World. WHICH MAKES ME INFURIATED THAT I NEED TO GET ALL THE POKEMON IN WORLD 5 JUST TO GET MY FAVORITE POMEMON. Ugh, But It Is Still A Great Game, But The Streetpass Was A Waste, Just Giving You The Persons Stats. Still A Great Game.… Expand

    A very nothing game. No story what so ever, not even a professor telling you to fill the pokedex. Extremely easy until about 3/4, where there is an extreme difficulty spike to pad out this really short game. Game play is boring, and if you aren't a huge fan of the Pokemon franchise, then the tiles mean nothing to you, which means you have no idea if your attack will be super/ not veryA very nothing game.     This game is great and all but the flaws are battle ain't a good word to describe a puzzle game that you buy only on the eshop. Well the game is a good puzzle game though.
