Nov 21, 2013Jett Rocket II is a solid game that offers a lot in a seemingly small package.
-
Official Nintendo Magazine UKJan 8, 2014Incredible to behold, but unlikely to inspire, Jett Rocket II is an engaging, if slightly wobbly budget treat that's more for the yes than the heart. [Jan 2014, p.89]

Dec 5, 2013While the prequel was a pure 3D platformer, Jett Rocket II tries to add a little variety with some 2D/3D gameplay and purely 2D levels. Surprisingly these 2D levels, reminiscent of Mega Man, are the best of the bunch, with a great level design and a touch of old school difficulty.
-
Dec 3, 2013A pure platformer if ever there was one, Jett Rocket II: The Wrath of Taikai continues its predecessor's line of top precision platforming and striking visuals, yet is not quite at the level of carving out a non-generic look of its own.
-
Nov 29, 2013Taking cues from Sonic, Mario, and other platforming greats, Jett Rocket II is an enjoyable, if flawed, variety-filled adventure.
-
Nov 27, 2013A good game that borrows some inspiration from the big platforming games. It has some issues, but there's loads of fun waiting to be had here.
-
Nov 22, 2013Jett Rocket II: The Wrath of Taikai is a game that, for the most part, is fun to play and nice to look at. It tries to deliver a varied gameplay experience, and although it isn’t too hot when it comes to the 3D levels and shallow mini-games, it makes up for this with tightly crafted 2D levels that can be deviously challenging.
-
Nov 22, 2013A gorgeous looking action and platforming adventure with a 2D and 3D mixed gameplay. A bit in the short side, though.
-
Nov 19, 2013Don’t expect to be utterly blown away by Shin’en’s latest – but don’t sleep on its ability to deliver a subtly compulsive experience, either. For less than a tenner you get a full thirty stages to play through, with some delightful touches that, for the most part, outweigh the flaws.
-
Dec 4, 2013This old-fashioned platformer draws its motivation mainly from the steep learning curve and the high difficulty level.
-
Jan 14, 2014Being a game that runs without any major flaws or technical blunders, Jett Rocket II: The Wrath of Taikai has very little standing for it and leaves the gamers with the overall feeling that this is a bland and uninspired piece of work. On top of that, its price tag is too high for what is delivered, which makes Jett Rocket II a passable option.
-
Jan 9, 2014Jett Rocket manages to leave a positive impression, but the challenge is prejudiced by an incapable gameplay.
-
Dec 5, 2013No charisma, no ideas, no fun, Jet Rocket II is a game that does not deserve your attention.
-
Apr 1, 2014I don't think I've ever played a game as soulless of Jett Rocket 2.
