Sep 6, 2021Boring, bland, and generic, Hey Pikmin lacks all of the unique puzzle solving, creativity, and excitement that the previous games had.

Jun 29, 2021Hey! Pikmin was always a doomed project even conceptually.
I have a lot of respect for what these developers were attempting to accomplish but it never really came together.
I would not recommend Hey! Pikmin. -
May 15, 2023Honestly, it's sort of sad seeing all these mediocre reviews about Hey!, this game is not oly a bad pikmin game, but a plain bad platformer in general. to all the others reading the reviews, if you're planning to get this, don't, you'd be better off saving a penny and buying either one of the three original pikmin games or wait a bit of time for pikmin 4.

Sep 19, 2017Hey! Pikmin lacks the smarts and the sheer visual appeal of the main series, but it's a warmly appealing diversion for fans and younger newcomers.
-
Aug 30, 2017Hey! Pikmin feels like a distraction, a time filler until the next 'proper' Pikmin arrives on Nintendo Switch – whenever that may be. While often delightful and frequently pleasant, its simple charms can't make up for extreme simplicity and a turgid pace. One best suited for Pikmin purists, if such a breed exists.

Aug 30, 2017If you’re looking for a traditional Pikmin experience this is not the game for you. Hey! Pikmin is a very sedate, gentle walk through the diminutive shoes of Captain Olimar and his Pikmin pals. It’s comparable to the level of challenge found in a Kirby game, which is to say you have to go out of your way to have your skills tested. For what it is, Hey! Pikmin is a cute, whimsical platformer that gets a lot right and a lot wrong, resulting in a middling experience overall.
