    As a timewaster, Frogger 3D is perfectly fine. As a retail-priced game, however, it is lacking.

    The people who will enjoy Frogger the most are the die-hard fans of the series looking to celebrate its 30th anniversary alongside Konami, and anyone with a 3DS looking for a worthwhile challenge.

    It's not a perfect game, and one that will do itself favors by staying at a budget price, but it's easy to recommend to die-hard Frogger fans, or anyone else looking for a quick fix of fun on their 3DS.

    The best part of the game is actually the infinite classic Frogger mode, which you can access right from the beginning. Sure, it looks pretty dated, but it is more fun and more fair than the actual campaign mode itself.

    Frogger 3D balances interesting, clever level designs that will make you want to keep playing just to see more with infuriating cheap shots and a ridiculous difficulty curve that will make you never want to play again.

The boss battles are usually hit or miss. The graphics are decent for an early 3DS title. The same can be said about the sounds and music. The Forever Crossing mode is a neat little feature.
