    Taking a simple formula and injecting it with cruelty is rarely a good way to win new fans. Frustration, thy spirit animal is a digital frog.

    Unfortunately, Frogger 3D comes up short. We can see select players having a decent time with it, but the cheap deaths quickly sap whatever fun most people would have with it. Perhaps Konami will get it right another 30 years from now.

    A game with nothing to offer the world but boredom and irritation in equal measure, and isn't worth playing even for those who are desperate to flesh out their 3DS library.

There is a large set of levels, with the levels ranging from pretty easy to very hard. It can get a little repetitive and slow time to time, but most levels are fair and fun. The boss battles are usually hit or miss. The graphics are decent for an early 3DS title. The same can be said about the sounds and music. The Forever Crossing mode is a neat little feature. This is not the biggest game, but there's enough there to give hours of fun.… Full Review »
