Oct 3, 2011One hell of a sports game, with plenty of options and teams to keep you kicking for months.
-
Sep 26, 2011Great, but with tighter gameplay and proper online multiplayer we'd be smitten.
-
Nov 28, 2011Definitely a good addition to a soccer fan's 3DS library, though the long term replay value is cut short by the absence of the online multiplayer present in PC and console versions.
-
Oct 19, 2011Even with a few flaws and missteps, FIFA 12 is a solid soccer game that will satisfy anyone who's been longing for just that on the 3DS. EA's clear understanding of the sport has led to an entertaining game that soccer fans can easily spend hours on, even if there's room for improvement.
-
Oct 11, 2011It's too close to the Wii version and its arcade nature to please the fans of the true FIFA, a choice we don't fully appreciate.
-
Oct 8, 2011In terms of content, slick features and a variety of game modes, it's an impressive achievement and far superior to its rival, Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 3D. Gameplay is entirely mixed, however, with intuitive controls and some fun mechanics being undermined by a poor frame-rate performance from the game engine.
-
Nintendo PowerOct 6, 2011It's great that the Nintendo 3DS version of FIFA Soccer 12 has most of the features of its Wii sibling.(Sadly, though, FIFA City is not included in this game.) [Oct 2011, p.86]
-
Sep 30, 2011A surprisingly rich title for a handheld console. It's perfect for a quick game on tiresome commutes.
-
Nintendo GamerNov 2, 2011Several goals behind arch-rivals PES. [Nov 2011, p.65]
-
Oct 4, 2011Quotation forthcoming.
-
Dec 19, 2011FIFA series comes to 3DS with a soccer simulator full of game modes, but poor in terms of graphics and so weak if we compare with the PES experience in this console.
-
Nov 15, 2011With very little content, an unchallenging IA and a badly optimized graphic engine, the only positive aspect of FIFA 12 is the inclusion of the career mode.
-
Oct 27, 2011We thought the added horsepower of the 3DS could have given a new breath to the FIFA franchise on Nintendo's portable line, but it's not. It might yet be satisfying for kids, but this 3DS FIFA doesn't have much in common with the HD versions, it even lacks some official licences. Also, there is no online play.
