    I bought Digger Dan DX for $2. It has a grid of levels. You start at the tutorial and each puzzle you solve unlocks the next, with a cute lock icon falling off. Some Quality of life additions, the next puzzle to solve is highlighted.
    The game is a spinoff from Boulder Dash but with 1 secret gem located in a fixed position in the "earth" and there is a timer. Both give you some points, and    I bought Digger Dan DX for $2.     Learning curve is very gently sloped, every few puzzles new mechanics are introduced: boulders, blocks, fragile walls, bombs, camera for snapshots, shield, enemies etc.

    In terms of play value, the $/h/p ratio is excellent.
    However, while Boulder Dash in 1990 was intriguing, the game levels feel a bit borish nowadays and the game has less charm than the original.
    Frankly, I don't know who to recommend it to. Young players will tire of it fairly quickly, and there are plenty better games than this. If you are a die-hard puzzle lover like myself, you might get some enjoyment out of it, but I would prefer Solitaire games any time over this: Solitaire card games has many more variations plus the Penguin variant that I love.    … Expand

    Though difficulty may be hard to found, the lack of actual repetitious puzzles is astounding, smooth music played throughout and the overall fun gameplay to found makes Dan perfect to jump into for spare moments.

    Graphically, Digger Dan DX is nothing to write home about. It looks nice enough but was definitely designed with the 2DS in mind. The audio is pretty lacklustre too; there’s certainly nothing memorable, so headphones won’t really be required here. The important part as always though is the gameplay, and Digger Dan does mostly get this right.

    If you’re a fan of games like Pac-Man, Dig Dug, and Mappy, I think you’ll find Digger Dan DX to be right up your alley.
