Your mission is to lead your soldiers into battle, seize the enemys castle, and gain victories until The Empire is banished from your land.

    Other features:

    -Play through 50 levels with 4 unique heroes that have their own advantages in battle.
    -The EX version features AI and levels that have been redone. Enemies are more intelligent and the levels are more challenging.
    -All items and hero abilities have been redesigned.
    -A play coins feature that can be used to boost battle effects in-game.

    Castle Conqueror EX is a good enough game to stand on its own, but to state that it has been significantly expanded or improved over the original is a bit of an overstatement.

    I didn’t have any problem with the gameplay overall, but in the end, it’s constant requirement to grind became tiresome, and the mundane and repetitive levels exemplified that. If you can muster through that, Castle Conqueror EX does have an addictive quality to it, but only if you know what you’re in for going in.
