Mar 26, 2014Rather good for quite a while, though the game falls off from being one of the best games of the year, to utter trash about halfway in. That and due to the poor implementation of customization (you'll be hard pressed to ever find skills that synergize) makes it not as good as it could be.

Jan 12, 2018Huh, an interesting looking game that tries to break from the normal style of turn based combat. This might be worth a look.
-Launched for full price
-Includes any form of microtransaction.

Nov 18, 2015If you had to finish this game to rate it the score would be much lower. The second half of the game is a major grind that adds very little to the story or game play. I don't recommend this game to anyone of my friends.

Apr 2, 2016Grindy, repetitive and has micro transactions. Should I continue? At least the game looks nice... as for the micro transactions, you can somewhat bypass that by leaving the game on in sleep mode - but still, its not a good system and reeks of a cash grab.

Apr 14, 2014It sounds like a lot, and it is, but not in an overwhelming way but in a fantastic, three in the morning, I can’t stop playing this game kind of way. When it all comes together and you destroy a boss that gave you troubles just a few job levels ago, it feels great.

Apr 8, 2014It's got a lovely fresh coat of paint, but underneath that Bravely Default is the same old thing.

Feb 16, 2014Bravely Deafult is the best game from Square-Enix in a long time and a must for fans of classic Final Fantasy. The battle and work system, as well as the history and the graphics is natural progresses of a gamemaking many deemed nostalgic.
