    This game has nice features and its suprising how well things can look on the small screen but the game also misses the most important feature an undo button making mistakes a pain in the arse.

    This is a very good tool for beginner artists who aren't experienced in drawing and painting techniques. The only con for me would be that there is no undo button in the lessons mode which is kinda frustrating. You end up having to restart your whole drawing over again if you want to undo something.     I mean, using the 3ds for art purposes sounds fun, but i don't like how inconsistent the pencil feels, and the music i can't stand it

    New Art Academy has a great deal to offer. Easily comprehensible lessons, masses of utensils, comfortable sharing options and the possibility to use an image of your choice as template. It is just a tiny bit of a shame though that the game doesn’t rate your creative masterpieces and that there’s no online database where all units created by users are collected.

    All in all, Art Academy is a work of art in itself. It provides not only some of the soundest art lessons you can obtain, but the tools to apply what you learn as you learn it. It's better than learning from a book, cheaper than paying for a tutor, and a whole lot less messy than its real life alternative.
