Cane Fire is a fascinating documentary, and I would recommend it to any American to watch. We should see what is wrought by claiming an archipelago from the people who actually owned it.- Film Threat

Warm Water Under a Red Bridge is a warm, uplifting romance. It plays out the way most Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn romances do. Seek this out if you enjoy a good, kinky, and romantic film. It simply has to be experienced.- Film Threat

In preparing A Compassionate Spy, James seamed together a spellbinding collage concerning the life and times of Ted Hall and his family. It is a wonderful documentary, and I encourage everyone who wants a greater sense of the story of the Atomic Age to check it out.- Film Threat

Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc is a film that demands to be witnessed on the largest possible screen. Preferably at a movie theater. This is that rare cinematic bonbon that will sit in your mind palace long after you’ve watched it.- Film Threat

While it will not win many (if any) awards, The Blackening is hands down the best time that has been offered up in a movie theater since the Dungeons and Dragons movie last March. This horror comedy plays with genre conventions in a sparkling and vividly delightful way.- Film Threat

A tight, taut mystery with incredible acting, this terrific film explores how our children use social networks. It has definitely opened my eyes to the possibilities of online sleuthing, and I highly recommend this film to anyone.- Film Threat

The video footage is demented, hysterically funny, and supremely dark. In presenting Carson’s antics and dissecting his style as a presenter, A Life on the Farm provides a horror-tinged giggle fest.- Film Threat

If you’re in the market for a handsome acting biopic, Mr. Burton is a fantastic selection. The travails of a lower-class Welsh kid aspiring to become a classical actor is great and heady drama. This is the sort of thing the British excel at.- Film Threat

Onlookers is a novel exercise in audio and visual presentation. Natural light, loads of wild sound, and the environment of Laos are presented plainly with zero artifices or embellishments. If you’re looking for a new kind of travel film, this is for you.- Film Threat

Insidious: The Red Door has some wonderful jump scares, some very creepy sequences, and it gives new terror to the prospect of receiving an MRI. This is an excellent summer horror film, and if you like having the bejesus scared out of you, Insidious: The Red Door will provide about 2 hours of entertainment.- Film Threat
