The quality is low, but Zoo is really entertaining and fun to watch. It is one of these shows that manage to win the audience just because they offer you a good time. And Zoo is pretty good at giving you 45 relaxing and enjoyable 42 minutes.

update* After watching, s03e09 I have to change my score. The quality of the show is low, we already know that. BUT the plot has become really boring and the acting is worse. The actress who plays the main villain has no substance at all. Most of the actors look like they are bored and their acting is with no colour. I will change my sxore from 7 to 3. It's just no fun to watch anymore but I will keep watching anyway because there are only 4 episodes left. Unfortunaly it's one of the shows that should end quickly before they become a shadow of their once enjoyable character.

This review contains spoilers, click full review link to view. Viewership has dropped in the third season and I'd like to offer some insight. While seasons 1 -3 all offered a combination of hyper action animal scenes and ridiculous science-fiction you wouldn't believe, something was missing in S3. Seasons 1 and 2 also caried a meta-theme that challenged human supremacy. Our heroes were fighting for both human prosperity and animal welfare. They wanted to cure the animals, not destroy them in the 'Noah Objective'. However, season 3 seems to have abandoned this notion and almost all animals have become villains, who no one thinks twice about destroying. This is reasonable from a scifi perspective, because the animals on screen are mostly hybrids. However, this causes a human supremacy undertone that animal lovers might dislike, and it wasn't there in S1-2. The tone has changed dramatically by way of this dynamic. I could go further into this regarding both Marxist and Freudian informed film theories, but suffice to say endearing the hybrids in some way could have solved this political undertone. Full Review »

To be honest I thought it should have finished at the end of season 2. The actors seem tired of the show and it is evident in their acting. I think 3 seasons is more than enough of this show.
